after seeing some of the sales reports for you all, I highly doubt you're really "working" here.

but knowing this, probably best you find something else before you HAVE to.

I'd love for you to try to sell Samsca! First the drug is over $300/Day, Otsuka does not contract with Medicare, there is no carve out for Medicaid, we are not on the National VA formulary and it's restricted to 30 days post discharge! Quite different from the mental health world where they are usually covered pretty well by most Medicaid plans or there is a carve out, and they are on the National VA formulary, plus the company is giving away free drugs to get them to start! On top of that, these bozos that manage are out of their league (i.e. SF in the West!)

75% CNS people did not complete employee survey which I was sign is a good sign that people are not engaged

With pathetic "management", a useless HR and a lot of talentless workers at the home office then this is to be expected.

Nothing but finger pointing and excuses why you can't do your job because of someone else. Classic self entitled salesmen and women.

Looks like someone in the home office or regional office is tired of being called out!

This statement is definitely from a "non-revenue producer". We can't do our job because assholes like you don't do your job getting coverage for stupid drugs like these!

I have been in the industry for awhile and I totally agree with these posts. This is by far the worst managed company in the industry. They had deep pockets a few years ago and lured a lot of people over but many have left due to inept management. There is NO leadership anywhere. Does anyone ever really hear from BO? Nope is the answer. Everything is a mess from samsca to IC to process. Training is a total joke and just about everyone is looking to jump ship. Get out while you can.

The problem is that Japan refuses to recognize how bad it is in the U.S. They need to clean house in a big way, and fast!

I actually have no problem with the company itself. I believe they try to do the right thing, compensate us well, and don't micromanage us. However, as a member of the hospital team for many years, it is damn near impossible to rally enthusiasm behind Samsca from any HCP. It's just too expensive for the few patients it actually applies to. Access is also becoming more of an issue, so trying to deliver a consistent message is a challenge when very few doctors even think Samsca is worth their time.
The partnering with CNS has been a difficult one a few years after AM launched and the red team feels like the hospitals are THEIR turf.
I honestly don't know how they even pay us.
That said, I always have my eye out. I have no reason to leave, but if the offer is a good one, it beats wondering what I'll be selling for Otsuka 5 years from now!

Micromanagement and not a happy place. If you don't care about quality of life this is the place to be.

Everybody is micromanaging everybody at this company to cover their butts. It is so ridiculous and doesn't have to be that way. The VPs think they're perfect and wants/expects their subordinates to be perfect to report back to Japan, hence the managers and directors are "spray painting" their grass green just exactly as someone posted in one of these forums. If only the Japanese management know about the real truth in the US.

You are right this is a horrible place to work! The medicines are crap - AM, S and now Rexulti. This company was a one hit wonder and now think they can reproduce that success with copycat drugs and BS metrics

As much as I felt bad that some stupid nurse reused needles and syringes to vaccinate the Flu vaccines to Otsuka HQ employees in Princeton, I find it justifiable Karma for some of those assholes. I hope they got what they deserved...
