Except unlike the original Capt. Smith, who drowned in the wheelhouse of his doomed luxury liner, this Captain of Industry will board his well appointed lifeboat and motor off to the Caribbean, there to lead a life of leisure, regaling the natives with stories of his business acumen.

PCLS will also be a sinking ship after the proposed fee schedule becomes real. There are many others that cannot handle the financial constraint. As far as Millennium, I read most of the exhibits in the above link and it doesn't look pretty. How did the VPs, directors think it was ok?? I think this is just the beginning. Nov 10 is bankruptcy date for millennium and I think it will be knock knock from all the carriers soon after. I am sorry for all the good Millennium reps out there but for the ones in my State and some others that I also know...it was coming to you. You deserve it after all the bashing and the shadiness you brought to this industry.

Don't you worry. PCLS is ready and moving forward. PCLS made the adjustment months ago preparing for 2016.

I work for PCLS. You got the same letter as everyone else. It had a sense of concern, in my opinion. It was a way to make sure they keep the good producing folks until the end. Genetic testing is gone, reimbursement has dropped in Palmetto this year and is probably about to drop again in 2016. They bought a $24 mil building to play with the big boys and now layoffs have commenced. You think a new test they they are proposing will "rescue" us?? I for one can see the writting on the wall and am moving on.

Sometimes it pays real dividends to be an anonymous rodent when slinking off the ship.
