I am unimpressed. Metrics, no work life balance or respect, the worst of big pharma behaviors

welcome to BMS. Leadership sucks, no accountability, people back stab each other. Other than this its a great ace to call home for 30+ yrs.

Bad culture starts at the top. Lynelle is a freaking joke who embarrasses us every time she gets on camera. That fake laugh or cackle drives the team nuts. She is protected by Murdo, so unless you leave, you just have to deal with it and move on. Most of us have second jobs to play with, so it's not that bad. Make your 2-3 calls per day and then go have fun doing something you like.

Worst culture in the company. Great products but leadership sucks. They Micromanage the crap out of us. Everything is about metrics and not truly doing what's right for patients. Only way to survive is to play the game better then your manager and hope they dont ride with you to often. As some one said, get another part time gig. It's easy to pull off. Just fake your calls. We all do it.

If you want to do something for patients, become a nurse. You do what the company wants to increase shareholder value. Once you understand that, you will sleep well at night. Now make, strike that, fake your calls and get home by 3.

Amen brother. Get your calls in and head for the links. No real reason to bust your ass here. You won't be appreciated. Give a little and take a lot.

DBms all suck in Onc. Bunch of piss-ant low life's that bow down to leadership and work 2-3 hours per day. Mine schedules to work with me and then either calls it off or "always" has an RBD emergency that makes him leave just after lunch. Is this true Bobbie?

Would you want your dbm riding with you all day? He knows you can't see anyone anyway so he doesn't want to be out anymore than you want him there

What kind of pay can you make in this Community Product Specialist I/O position?

Thanks to managers like Andrew Witriol- the division has gone down hill with regard to moral. That guy is a joke and the entire SE sales team either rolls their eye or laughs behind his back... Bad leaders are protected by high ups who because they 'protect' other 'little people, make them equally shitty. We are in BIG phrama...get used to it!

This is how it goes: incompetent managers lead to an outcry. Senior leaders who protect them tell them: you see you don't have anybody to support you except me. Incompetent managers become even more loyal spying and stabbing people in the back to stay around.
Competent managers on the other hand find it harder to stay around because the incompetent ones keep telling lies about them in their absence so senior leaders that protect those incompetent ones turn against them.
The issue is not the competent or incompetent managers, the issue is senior leaders like MG who never get mature and they stay the course on this shitty culture wherever they go and how senior they become. Good luck!

I cannot believe how horrible this division has become over the past few years. It was so pathetic to listen to Lynelle cry on that teleconference and relate to us that she is grateful for the fact that we taught her oncology. What a crock of crap. She came in like an unrestrained whirlwind tornado with all of her sample dropping metric bullshit and she fired basically every RBD and/or DM. Who opposed her agenda. No one taught her anything and she never learned anything....and she has the nerve to cry with all her regimen baby hormones and all her bullshit. What about all the managers that you pushed out, Lynelle? Do they get to cry? I'm specifically talking about the managers who informed your minions that it's not right to spam customers over and over with canned triggers, or to be so presumptuous as to mandate how many calls per day or programs per quarter that any given geography can realistically do. Most of the nation can hardly see any customers the majority of the time, so here is a great idea, why don't you add another sleeve to the salesforce because that will fix the problem correct? And you wonder why so many good reps are actively looking for employment outside of the organization now.

Desperation. Pharma refuses to face reality. We can fool some of the doctors some of the time, but we can’t fool them all the time.
