Can anyone identify the average comp plans for sales reps? Average base + commission range? I researched this and found a wide range discrepancy.

Also, obviously this isn't that important, but I was wondering what are the current/future fleet options? Escape, Equinox, etc? (It's always nice to know what to expect either way as we spend so much time in our cars).

I appreciate any honest and helpful feedback. Thanks.

it's a free damn car! It would be nice to get top of the line. Figure what a FREE car is worth. I hope you have more concerns about the/a company than compensation and a car.

The original posters comment stated it was obviously not that important. Perhaps they're just curious if it's a Yugo and if they'd need to budget for a chiropractor.

You need eyeglasses and anger management.

Noted. It was secondary. Most important was: How much are they going to pay me. Eyeglasses, no. Anger management, maybe asshole!

Must be nice to be in a position where compensation doesn't matter. Feel free to donate your entire income to charity you pompous asshole.

Pretty bold Mary! The point of the poster was you had better look at more than compensation in a company. Stability? Not a Zoetis selling point.

Why not? Is there still a threat for layoffs in the field? I thought that was over? Or is this the idea of possible acquisition (or both)?

The entire industry is unstable. Money is good if you can live with the uncertainty. If anyone says they feel stable, they ha better take a closer look.

So that makes asking what the comp is a bad idea?
I'll remember that next time I go for a job interview. As long as it's a good company they can pay me in peanuts.
    Dumb shit.

I do not think anyone was saying that you should not ask about compensation. You had better learn something about the company. If a candidate were to start off asking what the compensation, they would likely have a short interview.
Sounds like you go on a lot of interviews. Hope you find a really high paying job with great benefits. Good luck tough guy!

And you, sir, are a fucking hypocritical ass. The original poster did not say it was the most important thing in the first place - however to reply with "blah blah blah high and mighty bullshit compensation isn't important" is quite frankly the most ridiculous response possible.

If you walk out of a job interview (or INTO one for that matter) with no idea of what your compensation could look like if hired, you are a moron, pure and simple. Why waste your time interviewing etc if you might find yourself being offered a job that you'll have no intention of taking?

God...I forget how fucking a majority of the sales reps in this company are, until I read this board. Lack of common sense, logic, or brain power in general is CLEARLY the way to go.

    Dumb fuck.

Clearly there is no sane response to your rambling. I do like the way you identified yourself (your signature you might say) at the end. I await your clever retort tough guy.

Nothing like the drunken ramblings of negative Nancy or Ned. Neither actually answered the OP. We will not help you newcomer, because we're all miserable bastards and we want to make you one too is what most are saying

The original poster only wanted to know about compensation and company vehicles. Both important. Nothing about which company may be better to work for. Your vocabulary is amazing. I am sure you sweep all the men right off their feet.

I've made about $110k a year on average for the last 4 years... but I do special favors for my boss.
