no one wants a long acting high price ear antibiotic to increase the kit price
Patients, physicians, payers (cms) and hospitals won't. You can't even play in the game

What a stupid name for a company! Just terrible!

So how are Otonmy sales going? Was thinking it would be a huge challenge to try and sell ear drops that were significantly higher in price versus what they already use simply because it will adhere to the ear longer. How has ENT been in terms of getting it on formulary?

Could not agree more. Imagine....they paid money for someone to come up with this name too.

Turned down a job offer with this company. During the interview process, I could never get a straight response to the question "what is the value proposition offered vs. existing treatment options?" Give me tolerability, compliance, SOMETHING. Serious red flag raised and I walked. Seemed like nice people however, so I wish them success.

If there is such a thing as a Tier 198,382 in PBMs, this will have it.

395% copay, just to penalize the patient for allowing their doc to write it.

    Ketek all over again.

Let me help you troll a little better, since you are obviously so uninformed. This drug *which cannot be named due to compliance reasons* is not even available to fail via PBM. P = Pharmacy. We will fail exclusively through the medical benefit. You're welcome.

Boy are you stupid. It's clear the original poster was referring sarcastically to the compliance department not allowing us to say Otiprio. No wonder this company is failing. I bet you were involved in planning the launch. Great job.

The only reason to own this company is OTO-104 - the value prop is simple - there is NO cure for Meniere's. Steroids only works for a few days because they cant stay in the inner ear.
This steroid (gel) is designed to be in the ear for several months. It will change the lives of Meniere's patients all over the world. (forget about the swimmers ear drug - useless - just a warm up for the big guy OTO-104)

I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease almost 10 years ago. I wish them all the luck world.
If this drug hits...trust me you will want to be along for the ride. Millions of patients will be lining up at ENT's all over the world.

It's nice to be reminded about what matters. Thanks for bringing some positivity to this toxic board. Thankfully there are a lot of us dedicated to help, rather than complaining... jobs gotta get done and the movers and shakers will leave the naysayers in the dust.
