Just shut up and quit being jealous you know we are one of the best companies out there. We're just beating everybody else to the punch by being owned by a manufacture, somebody's jealous we can do what you can't.

180 Medical is what's bad about the industry.

They have prayed on the clinically uneducated MA or RN within the office....whooing them with free gift cards to take care of their 'problem' with dealing with needing catheters for a patient. They have purpetuated the myth that catheters are a headache for the nurse....of which they will take care of !! Basically 180 and many of their peer dealers have totally taken away any clinical awareness of catheters.

I've never seen one nurse question what's in that 180 bag of treats. The so-called clinicians should be thrown back in school.

And, yes, 180 please put some quality into those bags beyond pretzels. Happy Halloween.

This is so true. The 180 Reps that are buying off the nurses and MAs with anonymous gift cards will be eventually caught. It's bullshit & while they think they are winning now, in the end they'll be winning ..... in jail.

I've never seen such scummy business practices. 180 is the bottom of the barrel in the catheter DME world.

They have poor ethics and have been known to split really good territories and then let go of the more expensive rep. They burn through reps. Look elsewhere.

Absolute truth!!!! Hilarious, the lengths they go to in order to try to make you feel that you are fortunate to work for them. Life-changing money, smh.

This company is very corrupt, and recently had some very rough financial times likely due to the corruption. The human resources department is doing some especially illegal things. It's very sad.

Many of the things other posters have said are true. 180 Medical goes through people like most Americans go through water. During the 4 years I worked for them at least half a dozen people got hired and fired every couple weeks. The human resource director and her staff were very dishonest and I was amazed how they turned on me. My husband wanted to sue but I knew that would be a waste of our money. You can't sue 180 medical, you can only tell others your opinion and what happened to you so that more people come forward.

Management is definitely engaged in illegal practices and it is only a matter of time before the house of cards falls unless some people shape up and they make a large shift in how they operate and treat people.

Human resources is racist, sexist, discriminate towards certain religions ect. It's really bad there. When you read about good things about 180 medical they are usually one of two things that make them good: Either they are really old from back a few years ago when the company was still good, or they are from very new employees who haven't quite figured out what is actually going on yet. It takes awhile to figure out what is going on. You start getting called into meetings and people are setting pages of chat logs in front of you and playing out all your recorded phone calls. Just creepy.

180 Medical was Voted one of Oklahoma's Best Places to Work by employees for 7 years. They actually currently employ more women than men. They also are the #1 supplier of intermittent catheters in the nation. :)

Yeah, poll the reps...would be different story. Forced GPS tracking devices on cell phones so that they can see their reps movements in the field. Putting private investigators on your reps to make sure they're working. The now CEO was the national sales manager and when he was, would go sit in his vehicle down the street from the rep's house to see what time they got home from the field. The national sales manager used to be a detective and has limited sales experience, much less management experience. Best place to work? Maybe if you're at corporate office and not an underpaid rep with 180 Medical induced lack of self respect.

    .
This is literally the only accurate thing written in this thread. Everything else appears to be a bunch of bitter competitors or manufactures angry with their local 180 medical rep. Truth is, 180 is one of the largest catheter dealers out there (maybe the largest) and didn't get there from"breaking the law" or "immoral" practice. Due to their size they are always being audited or under scrutiny to "dot their i's and cross their t's".

These people may not agree with 180's business plan, but it's been very successful for them and they have TONS of online reviews from customers vouching for their business and customer care. I worked there from 2012-2014 and have nothing bad to say. I left for a higher paying job. (I worked inside OKC corporate office as a customer service rep).

As far as sales go, the only people breaking rules are manufacturers. They should NEVER be asking for PHI, they are not involved in patient care nor do they have the patients best interest in mind. As the poster above stated, could you imagine a doctor giving he Pfizer rep a viagra rx?? NO way, that goes to the pharmacy. But their day will come.

The cath business is SUPER competitive, and 180 is a large player in the game. There is MUCH worse companies to go work for, but as a former employee, I would highly recommend 180 if you have the balls to get in to the super competitive cath business.

This is absolutely correct, this post seems like its full of bitter former employees who just sucked at sales or jealous manufacturers who push their products like its the best thing since sliced bread. They can't compete with superior sales reps so they make up excuses that reps pay nurses blah blah blah. When in fact manufacturers do this ALL the time and I've personally seen them called out by office managers/Doctors. NEWS FLASH your products are not saving lives or are any different from anyone else's in fact most are manufactured by the same two companies you all just buy them re-brand name them and them mark them up to suppliers, you can't even bill for them and have no clue how the market works.

Yes 180 medical has its downfalls (extra paperwork required by insurance to bill) but its far superior to any other company out there breaking PHI laws (cough cough manufacturers) this is why you are all now buying supply companies (crappy ones) and still losing business. No their reps are not true device reps but the company does take care of their reps if you can perform and cut through all the BS out in the market. its no easy task with the dense web of lies everyone in the industry spins to "sell their service/product" to offices which are all the same so it is a popularity contest in the end. 180 medical just seems to have the more popular reps as they crush the competition from coast to coast.

Just because you don't understand the differentiation in products doesn't mean their isn't very specific differences which affect people's lives. This level of ignorance is why a customer should NEVER work through their supplier- suppliers just don't know enough to be in a consultative sales role!

I am about to start interviewing for an RSM position with this company. What are the realistic salary expectations for a management position as well as total earnings?
