Ok, I realizing asking a serious question on café pharma is like pissing into the wind, but if there's any non-dipshit people on here who want to give an honest answer, I'd love to hear it. Salary range for ENT. Total comp plan? What % of reps at plan? Thanks assholes.
Again, and for the 1000th time. Do not take a position with Olympus. ENT & Energy are the worst, since they have zero market share and no ground to stand on. Next is Urology where they want the disposables but BSC has the market locked with solide stone disposable contracts. Last but not least Surgical Endoscopy where they are pushing 3D & 4K and docs could care less. No ortho products to sell against Linvatec or Stryker. Stay the fuck away from Olympus. On top of all this lockout market shit, is the fact that the company steals your commissions. This is done through two avenues. Comp plan cuts yearly, or skimming off your sales and hiding it. It is very common practice at Olympus. If you need more, I will provide, but that is the truth and that is all you should need to make your decision.
no one makes $300k at Olympus except for the Golden Boy on the east coast you asshole. Jesus can't you even try to be somewhat honest in your discussions? What an ass clown.
Actually, it's the West Coast that brings big $... Anyway. It's true what is said. $50k base, 100-150k plus expenses, company car, and A JOB!!! Been here a while, and the grass is not greener. Believe me, reps are turning over everywhere in other companies. If your business acumen is professional and true, you'll have no issues. It's the sleep laters and Friday offs that are the complainers!
Eat shit you fucking lying SOB RVP! The whole USA salesforce is resigning and quitting in fucking droves!!! Olympus is far worse than other companies. Just ask Finance when they wrote a check for almost a billion $usd to the DOJ for untold corruption and wrongful deaths! What a fucking liar you are!
Olympus is getting audited by the IRS for not reporting income for ANY of their 1000 sales reps since 2014. Not only did they not report income, they didn't report the taxes they collected from employees. This was done to try and save $ on unemployment benefits. Well there's going to be another huge fine by the IRS by the end of the year. So that makes two governmental fines levied on Olympus in 2016. DOJ & IRS! Sales: get ready for more cuts to your comp plans! Get out now! You were warned!
