    Terry was the idiot who came up with certification. Amy was the one who made it happen. I went through certification when I worked there and it has nothing to do with real world surgery. If it did there wouldn't be 50% turnover at Tornier. Never once has a surgeon asked about training in a company. If you can't tell them the right instruments the doc won't use you. If you can you will be a good rep. When Amy is fired and certification is gone you will see reps and managers start acting like an Ortho company. One that actually has direct reps that do well not only the distributors. Look at the productivity between the direct reps and distributors. None of the distributor reps are certified and they grew 4 times as fast. Any moron can figure that out except the morons that are named Terry, Amy, and Missy.

    This is my first time on this thread. I have to agree with all the Tornier reps drowning in the policies currently in place.
    Only reason I am sticking around is because the product is good and I actually care about my DRs. I ignore management now because it only gets in my way.
    I understand authority and respect it....however, every man or woman has a breaking point.

    Apparently leadership can only be found outside the company. The door has closed on any current employees being promoted.

    Unfortunately, there were no DM's to
    promote because they all quit on Hasbrook. He was as talented as Terry and that says it all.

    Why would you want to be promoted in this company? The ASD position is a revolving door with no future. What a great place to work.
