no one in the pharma industry cares about Otsuka or even knows about it. this is why industry rejects flock to it because it is their last resort. Otsuka is a small shitty jap company that has delusions of importance.

Maybe you should stop crying and go find a real job! They held us accountability - really??? your making over 100k you should be held accountable. The problem is no one knows what you do! Waste of money not generating any revenue. I'm tired of listening to the assure team brag about laying by the pool and getting paid for doing nothing! About time someone realizes it was a waste of time and money cut your losses Otsuka.

Best response on here! Japan needs to start at the top of Assure and cut their losses. They need to admit they dont generate revenue and that's what counts when you are laying people off.

Great post!!! Hardly anyone out there knows the company. It's an ambarrasment to put the name on my resume because they are sneaky and have no clue how to run an american business.

Hey HR, as you are trolling through here to pick up some possible truths you need to look at the top of assure and start dumping the excess baggage. The ones at the top of assure are the biggest embarrassment at this company. I am in sales and I guarantee that we can do the same job as our assure team. Do some field rides and find out what they really do for our company. Just do yourself a favor and make sure it isn't a milk run to make them look pretty. While you are at it follow the management people and try not to laugh. Everyone on the company knows it is not a real job and they are led by a total joke and her flunkie.

Oh please get rid of these worthless people. They have zero value and zero accountability. They think getting coffee together is collaborating. Please don't waste our time unless you actually have accomplished something or have some value to bring to our matrix team...which is doubtful because you haven't done anything in the past 2.5 years, why start now? Just more snakes slithering their way through our company giving the rest of us a bad name.

Your logical whining is annoying. Just get with the program and deliver zero value and have zero accountability. I got with the program a year ago and now I am on the fast track here.

Great news from a reliable source in home office. Assure is on chopping block. Should be gone by July/Aug. BO was the only one advocating for no more layoffs but with his resignation it is full speed ahead to cut overhead. And clearly they are just overhead. They have not solidified their value proposition to the company and AMs will resume the responsibilities that the Assure team covers...which are minimal so it should not impede with day to day selling rather be an additional resource we can offer our customers without wasting their time with another rep.

That's great news and since AMs will be covering Assure Rx responsibility regarding handling plenty of Starbucks visits for lounging purposes and annoying physicians, that may actually end up subtracting from what you guys have to do as they were a negative. I'm not quite sure why Otsuka got sold on the idea of having this division. Judging by who some of the managers were, I can only say why the fu%k were they being administered pay checks for this long?

It's about time!! Total waste of company resources. Any of us can do their job. The management in the department is also a total joke. They need to start at the top and get rid of all of them!!! There is NO real business reason to keep all of them around. I agree that Bobby was the main reason they kept the AssureUselss group running around from coffee shop to coffee shop. Amazing how they have actually been paid to do nothing. Where is HR in all of this? Are they busy printing pink slips for more of the sales people???

Wow Bob, keep sucking just a little harder and around the pee hole. You might get to snag another paycheck or two if you can keep up the Hoover suction and make a couple of smacking noises with your mouth. That's always a turn on!!!

The last post was not about BO Bob, but another booby Bob DM/Area Manager.

The Assure reps were good when Rex launched but now don't see the point of them. If anything they annoy the offices and all they do is get patients on PAP which costs the company money and keeps reps from getting Rx credit. I don't want my Assure rep going to any office anymore because it hurts sales!! This company has the sales reps so thinned out now we can't possibly call on many docs in these big geographies. It would've been nice to have had the assure rep be a sales rep addition and make the territories smaller! The company is going to see that Rex sales will suffer with less sales reps and more Lundbeck reps hands in the pot when Gamma starts promoting. It's too many people overlapping and takes the control out of Otsuka reps hands with sampling, etc.. Its just a free for all now!!

I worked well with the other reps who were laid off in my territory, but the Assure guys just get in my way. My manager told me that there was some moron scam artist manager for Assure RX that came up with the idea of having this division so that he'd have some kind of job as a manager. They don't seem to be very sharp.
