i was contacting about interviewing for a sales position. Any feedback would be appreciated. Salary range? Training? Product acceptance?
You are a year behind 75-85k 28-32k year 21 PTO days. Includes sick personal etc 2 floating Holidays You WILL be a direct Impax Employee
Thanks for the info.. Do you have any more info on company such as micro management, info on training etc
Managers are the same as any Pharma Some are awesome some are awful but there are only a handful of managers so there is no telling. They tend to hire seasoned reps so that helps Training wil probably be 2 weeks at home and 2 weeks probably in the San Francisco area. Maybe Phoenix. DS should be your lead trainer. He takes a little getting used to be is really invested in seeing you succeed. If MM is there be alert he likes to play 'gotcha' It's not a bad company. The class should be pretty good size for this size organization. About 10-15. People have been sent home from training for stupid stuff like Public Drunkenness or not passing the tests (there are 2) so stay alert. If you are in SF you can get downtown pretty easily and I recommend it.
Thanks for the response. How are the products performing and is there any products coming anytime soon? trying to decide if I should go further in interview process
I am also interviewing. Are the territories manageable? Do they provide a company car or allowance? How is managed care coverage for Rytary?
Company car is provided and most territories are manageable. Benefits are very good, Rytary doesn't have great coverage be prepared to be talking PA's in most offices
Have some self respect. You would work for a base of 80K? What a joke. I don't get out of bed for 80k
This is pretty much accurate also if you don't see many negative posters assume it's not a bad position. I worked here approx 2 years and for the most part think it's a good company to work for
One product is rocking one is a slow up take. One we stopped promoting Nothing in the pipeline until yer improved Rytary comes out in about 2 years so that's a concern Company is trying to figure out how to run as its own entity with a sales force as opposed to contract force so there have been bumps in the road Has been talk of co promote but nothing firm Like the person said earlier it just depends on your manager. Territories are massive in some areas
At least I have a job, it might be the worst job in the industry, but I have a job. The day in a life of all Impax reps.
