When is RC going to fire the leadership. 6 6years or negative, flat, or very low growth. Two new products have entered their portfolio. One has been heavily invested in yet no real growth. Why? Bad leaders.

Aspen and Hill Rom Resp positions open in Boston... Any idea on Comp Plan for both? Recommendations on both divisions? Adjusted Cost of Living?

I heard Pantnode was given the choice of being demoted or resign.

I had to laugh today. I got a notice on LinkedIn that they have renamed the already inflated title of "Regional Director" title in Respiratory Care to " Area Vice President". Who the hell are they kidding. These clowns manage 7-9 people, period, end of story. They don't build comp plans, set budgets, or have virtually any say in strategy, policy, or product development, they are a bunch of yes men/women. I guess they could call the guy that takes out trash in the building as " Area Vice President-Waste Catalyst but at the end of the day he/she is just the janitor.
You guys are just first tier sales managers of some salespeople not vice president's of anything. You guys are like the "Cheer's" episode where they couldn't pay the bartenders more so they called them "Executive Bartenders" to make them sound more important than they actually are.

I have an interview with them. Could someone fill me in on what the typical base salary range is and then what the incentive is at plan? Glassdoor seems high for the account executive role. It says above 200k. Would appreciate sincere feedback as I am strongly considering this role. I understand some aren't happy with the management but would this be considered a good career move if getting into capital equipment?

Also would like to know how the work life balance is. Company car (what kind) or allowance? How many appointments a week on average are you doing. logging calls in Salesforce? What's typical sales cycle? Thanks.

Depends what business unit you are in. I'm in Respiratory. Almost nobody gets to 200k. Depending on your territory it more likely to be 110 to 130k 85% of AEs. They cut our commissions in half on Metaneb yet require us to to 90% of the work for their specialist team. They give you a car allowance around $300.00 a month and .14 a mile. A huge joke. You need this app on your phone to track ur miles (big brother) and it is more important to log your calls into Sales force than it is to make sales calls. Yes, mgrs are not great as most are pretty inexperienced. Some make life/work balance ok others want you doing expenses/office stuff on weekends. Varies.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. Interviewing for AE position with respiratory team. Which product is selling more than others? And what's the existing install base like? Sounds like they need to hire more folks on the service side so you guys can focus on selling. Also don't like the idea of an app tracking your location or miles. That doesn't create a culture of trust. That car allowance doesn't seem like it would be enough to pay for insurance and a car payment + gas. Thanks again.

On the hospital side Metaneb most but vest on homecare. If you want a culture of trust this isn't it. Btw, we've had mass exodus over past five years about eighty five percent of field. In fact, Siri P the top rep for about fifteen years ....multiple Masters awards etc.. quit without a job. The place is toxic. Unlike Siri I can't just quit but am looking very hard

Thankfully, I just recently found another job and the company I just joined reminds me of the Vest company of years ago. The Vest use to be a trusting culture with a much better bonus structure, and definitely better managers. The group today doesn't offer the AE's and idea's to their reps. They all just ask for information that they could have looked up themselves so they can report it up to their boss Carlson. In other words, don't expect a lot of mentoring. For me the final straw was being shafted on Metaneb commissions (cut in half) but doing all the work and before that having runzheimer where you are tracked but what is worse is what you noted. NO the amount you get doesn't cover the cost so I decided I'm not going pay money out of my pocket to work for these bozo's. If I were you I'd pass on the opportunity but perhaps you need something desparately. Good luck to you but so much happier now.

I am looking at an opportunity in Respiratory Care. What is the current culture like? It seems like some post are mixed. What is the income like, benefits, company car, and how is upper management like? Thanks in advance.
