Considering your lab is in NYC you got your balls chopped a while ago. Good try and I'm still waiting.

The maturity level of these posts are frightening but what else would one expect from MDL employees? Afterall the ink isn't dry on the deplomas of the majority of the reps. And who uses the term "bro". Seriously?

Can someone please give me some insight into this company. I have an opportunity. Already spoken to one of the managers. They spoke very highly of the company and said the VP of Sales is very different and I should keep myself busy at all times and try to keep off her radar. Kind of odd I thought to be told this. Opportunity to make alot of money. Should I go for it or continue interviewing? On my next interview, give me some suggestions as to what questions I should ask. I'm already going to ask pointed questions about the person VT. Read and heard too much to not ask. Kinda new to all of this.

I survived 4 years at NFL. My advice is to take the position and keep looking.

Their products are highly antiquated. Quest, LabCorp, and large regional labs have the same technology. Don't let MDL tell you any different. Offices want convenience, and MDL isnt. Paper reqs, no blood, poor cytology product, etc.

Oh, and they are out of network with a lot of insurers. They don't bill the patient, but offices get nasty letters

Find a company that has PCR in network

if mdl doesn't bill the patient then what exactly are these nasty letters the offices are getting?

From payors. Most contracts state that physicians will use in-network lab services. When they see a $1500 claim for a BV/yeast test from an out of network lab, they threaten the physician because they are violating their contract.

I honestly dont see how they are still in business.
