Arthrex compensation lowest in industry

$45k no benefits to $55k and steadily climbing. $80k and a rep thinks he's crushing it. Wtf. I sell a tenth of the volume as Arthrex reps and make 30% commission on cases that bill out for 4 times as much. Bunch of boners

The first post is absolutely correct- the distrib's dont want to put there $$ into fill hiring quotas and force reps to hire and pay 100% on a 10%commission structure- greed at its strongest

 

As long as Reps keep accepting these crap job offers, why should the distributors or corporate change? You'll see change only when people quit and/or they can't fill the positions. Duh.

 

The pay is low because Arthrex floods a medium size city with 8 reps and just hopes they get cases by living at hospital .

 

This thread is bullshit! First off, your money depends on your experience and job description. New hires at Arthrex make around 50k. Some distributors pay benefits and some don't. But thats not uncommon in this industry. Most pay expenses now. I know hundreds of associates and specialist that make money well past 100k. Territory Leaders make great money. Do your job, grow your business and make more money. Its pretty simple!

 

you're obviously in some mid level management position providing useless help and on a steady paycheck..No reps salary is growing - if it does, we hiring reps w/ associate degrees that will work in medical device for $40K.- stop talking out of your ass

 

Learn to be competitive and earn what you should.

Go to work for Stryker, Smith & Nephew etc....get your car allowance, expense check and base. Make a great living with 120,000 a year, grow 1% enjoy your Prius and your two incomes because you don't make enough to support your spouse.

Or bust your ass build your business and make 250,000 to 500,000 a year building an empire, your choice.

There's few if any reps making $250K + anymore after paying out for all our required associates...but at least it helps our distrib owners make a bonus.

 

Arthrex reps making $250k? That's hysterical. Even if you could make that in one year, it would guarantee only that they'd chop your territory up the next year. Reinhold wants to flood the market to keep the competition out. It's no secret that he wants us all to make $80k, and like it.

 

You should ask Chris mooney in Nyc at hss how much he makes. Tells everyone he's over 500k

 

im sorry to say, my distributor is very fair and I make good money. Not a homer but my pay has increased over 30% per year, you all must be with the wrong distributor.

^THIS!!!! Sometimes there are three Arthrex reps in one small case around here, with another one or two roaming the hallways. They must just go camp out at their accounts all day long.

 

Telling you, it's possible to make great coin. Mooney in NYC makes over half a million annually. He will tell this to anyone who asks. It is possible, you just have to work as hard as he does.

Moon doesn't need to be there everyday. He's built an army of minions who live there every day and do the grunt work. They make him a shit ton of coin. Why begrudge him? Work harder and be like him.

 

I don't begrudge him. Not everybody has a setup like his. He comes to his account 2 days a week. Prob works 20 hours a week. And makes half a mill. Something doesn't seem right

 

If Moony or anyone else tells you what they earn cut in in half. Fact ! Why do you need validate what you earn to someone else
