Medtronic Early Retirement Offer

Did they hit the numbers they were looking for on Early Retirement?


Will the RIF be end of April or end of May?

I've got to keep another offer in play until I find out about the RIF (either because I'll get RIF'ed or don't want to hang around if I'm the only TSS left).

 

Rumor has it that 700 (out of 4,000+) took the offer. Is it enough remains to be seen.

 

GM better take it

 

It's June. Nothing has happened. Is RIF off the table because of the better-than-expected 4th quarter financial result?

 

What? There may not be hundreds at a time but people are being let go weekly!

 

No announcements at CRHF yet -- may be in other operations such as Spine operation in Memphis.

 

What locations or sites are going for the early retirement offer? Colorado?

 

There were a couple of early retirement parties at CRHF and Structural Heart. About 50 people actually took the offer at Minneapolis, MN. There might be more at other locations.

 

I am Surprised that MDT Colorado hasn't taken many.
