You really cannot make this stuff up

So you take 1/3 of the existing sales force and shove them into pediatric offices, trying to sell in a flat/declining market. Then, when the pediatric sales force is sitting at 90% to goal, and we are about to launch a new (not really) adult indicated medication, you hire 60+ contract sales idiots to promote your new and existing product in the offices that you took 1/3 of your sales force out of.

I know this circus show is just that, but how does this make any sense? At least Shire let the OBU sales force botch their launch before asking the NBU to come in and bail them out. They never gave the NBU sales force a chance to botch this.

I can't recall ever working for such inept leadership. It's disturbing.

This place is a dumpster fire. "Leadership", and you have to use that term loosely, are complete and utter morons who either have no idea what the hell they are doing, or have no back bone to push back on some of this shit. The numerous consultant groups being utilized have to be laughing their asses off, praying Shire doesn't bring in anyone who knows what they are doing. The consultants have hit pay dirt. The shareholders will get wise. Hopefully

If only this person worked at home office or was in leadership this company may stand a chance. This will be 2 failed launches because of decisions being made at the top. Sad. Both X and M could have been great medications under a different set of leaders.

how does KC even have a job? when's the last time the nation hit a goal?

They are purposely setting goals every quarter with the expectation that after 10 years Vyvanse continues to grow by 5-10 percent every quarter. If the sales force doesn't hit it, oh well, we can still be growing rapidly, and we don't have to pay the sales force.

And now it has moved up to the 3rd spot of the highest selling drug in the country, yet we still make NO bonus!

Oh well, no worries for the new Shire to them the sales force is replaceable. Besides Fleming can't afford to pay a sales force and bonsues because he's too busy paying himself $25 million per year.

I surpassed my target and earned a great bonus! You may wish to work a full day and learn to SELL!

Sure you did buddy. Quarter isn't even over yet with regards to numbers reporting, let alone payout. I like how they threw up fact that June scripts go down 22 percent June traditionally. Funny thing is my goals for June were only down 10-15 percent. And they wonder why all of the pediatric reps outside of Alabama are at 90 percent or less. They must all suckm all 110(plus of them).

Pathetic attempt by leadership. Whoever you pay to be the PR person on this site is stealing money. Everyone knows they are a troll and just shows how pathetic you are flemming

That's because you are one of the many reps who have a sub 2000 RX goal who still hits goal despite Vyvanse growing at a fraction of the rate your market is. Look at the south east and gulf states zones! reall!!! how can they be at 97/98% goal attainment when they are barely growing Vyvanse. The easiest markets to sell in. a training monkey can grow share in those zones and these reps can't keep Vyvanse on pace with the market. yet they are just behind the west who has the worst market to sell in and is growing Vyvanse at double the rate of the market. FO and PS say they want to reward the best, but time again we see reps who are losing share continue to get rewarded for not growing.

So 97/98% to goal is somehow good now?? Wow this idiot leadership is getting exactly what that wanted, keeping the nation below 100 for 2 years and now reps are envious of others being just below goal

Not to mention southeast and gulf coast captured 25-30% of market years so literally all u do us lose share and grow it back. ADHD market is saturated and mydayis is only adding to that

Xiidra was named the best launched drug in ophthalmic history, so very far from a botch job. Has the growth flattened out? Yes, won't argue with you there but it's only because refills are tough with PAs and no Med D coverage. Notice how it STILL hasn't grown any since NBU came on board to "rescue" OBU so just stop with the OBU vs NBU divisiveness and stay in your lane.

The things we have in common at OBU and NBU:
    1) We both are great at what we do.
    2) The expectations for growth and quotas for our products are unattainable.
    3) Many are looking to leave for better opportunities.
    4) We both share the same leadership.

The NBU doesn't give a damn about xiidra or the obu or your launch. Your people are getting axed Bc leadership considers it a failure and it was stated at our meeting that it wasn't as successful of a launch as they had hoped. We've been here longer and know that mydayis will follow suit with xiidra Bc of the ineptitude of the people In Charge. If that offends you, I'm sorry but that's what the company is touting about the launch....its a failure . If you can't see that I feel sorry for you Bc you will end up blindsided and fired at some point. Don't trust this company for a second. Just business , nothing personal and just repeating facts

Get your head out of your ass. Shire considers it a failure and thats why they keep laying off your reps. It's not an NBU v OBU thing . They even stated at the mydayis meeting it was a failure. Mydayis will also be one because of the ineptitude of this leadership. If you think this is an OBU vs NBU thing, it's time to reshift your focus because you will end up blindsided and fired just like your peers

Failure only in the sense that it did not live up to the incredibly unrealistic numbers promised to the shareholders. This is not bc we dont have med D coverage, which is not expected year 1. The only people that should have been fired were the analysts that fed leadership false hopes and dreams.

Quit the blame game! Sales people are expected to drive sales and meet/exceed goals. That is the job of a salesperson! If you don't do it, y'all get fired. I know this is somewhat revealing to snowflakes that believe a good try is just as good as meeting a sales quota. However, the only metric that matters in sales is $s!! If y'all don't like the job description then leave and look for another type of job. You are definitely not wired to be a salesperson.

And you must be an ungodly rep. Is it blame or stating a fact that Shire is purposely setting almost unobtainable goals. Sorry dude, but if Pediatrics is at 90 percent nationally, then someone needs to check their math. Come talk to me when you are growing your Vyvanse volume higher than the nation , but still not even coming close to goal snowflake
