I am being recruited to sell Tornier line. The hiring manager tells me I can keep my other lines and that there is a big rep in LA that has become a manager while keeping his distributorship on the side. I would like to get into management at some point. Does the Wright medical leadership allow this for all?

Not true. All W-2s are 100% Wright with no other lines. Or, I am completely off my rocker and naive.

Many of the legacy Tornier reps were running multiple lines before integration and many continue to keep those lines under separate businesses now.

The LA rep/manager in question is on a 1 off deal. Wright probably won't sign off on this for too many others.

    So, there is a double-standard?

Legacy distributorships were allowed to keep their current deals as long as there was no conflict of interest. The real answer is can you give them business or market penetration? If the answer is yes, deals are made all the time to buy business. Tornier legacy was great, great products and people, but I'd be cautious of Wright corporate. Way too much red tape. I've yet to meet a truly happy LE rep. Best of luck.

I'm running $1.5 in shoulders but only able to move $800-$900k. I really need to know if my other lines are going to cause issue. Without the other lines shoulder only is high risk and just doesn't pay the bills

The guy you need to talk to in LA is Eric Limcaco. He double dips with multiple lines.

And that is ok? Does the area VP know?

If you don't have multiple lines or are "double dipping" then you are doing nothing for yourself and just giving it to he man. Grow up and learn how to make good money, not one simple check every pay period.

This guy Limcaco isn’t a rep anymore. He’s a manager running a big side Biz. That’s how you do it. Just don’t get caught.
