Good to know, but what we really want is if Aug15,Aug 30 will mean anything, since lots of postings about layoffs, wait by your phone.
It must be another joke! I'm betting August will end with crickets

Few posts are credible about layoffs. Mostly folks who love to think they're entertaining and playing with string puppets, getting into the minds of the little sales people.
If Sept 1 comes along with no layoff news- like what the "HQ Sources tout about, it's all fake news.
So for future reference, HQ,HR sources, your credibility is on the line HA!

Hey snowflakes, ask yourself this question. Are you happy and do you feel satisfied with your current job.
If it wasn't for being overpaid for doing very little, would you stay in this job for another 12 months? Can you see yourself doing this for another 10 years? I know that I have been doing this for 3.5 years and I feel numb and get sick to my stomach starting Sunday afternoons knowing that I have to endure another day of this shit.

actually many Americans who are way too overworked and stressed with zero personal down time come home exhausted and drained. I will take my mind numbing job that allows me a very fulfilling quality personal life. Count your blessings! If you need something to do to stimulate yourself learn a foreign language or get another degree idiot!

It's all relative. Try selling copiers which requires cold calling all day on low level people trying to uncover "decision makers" who actually have decision making authority, earning maybe 30 k a year, and you will have a new perspective on this job.

Well, darn. Tuesday the 29th is the day I'm scheduled for a new do'. And get my nails done. A few highlights as well. Should I reschedule so that I can see my top docs between 9-10, so I'll have plenty of time for shopping after the salon? I just wish they'd pick another day, like the 30th. But,it's not about me, like my husband says. Silly boy!

HQ source here. The cuts have already begun in HQ with a lot of shuffling of chairs, title changes, but the same center ring shit crew is in charge. The field cuts will come in the form of a major realignment with vacant territories being eliminated to reduce the number of layoffs and then the elimination of the few over 55 and close to retirement. The intent is to minimize the fear and trepidation for as long as possible until the big cuts come if sales do not turn around.

HQ Source here. There's a 6% cost of living increase coming with evaluations in September. There will be no layoffs in foreseeable future. Keep up the great work team !

Wow! Considering the FACT that most raises in the past 3-5 years average 2-3%, compared to other inflation rates, you're making less money now than in the past. Any business, economics majors want to disagree? I don't think so. Now, for those that don't get it. In 2017, look at overall rate of inflation, compare to the raise you'll get in march 2018. If inflation percentage is higher or close to your raise percentage, you literally and figuratively did NOT get a raise. You probably went backwards!! Now all you folks that jump up and have a fit for a 2-3% raise, think again, buddy boy.
