Can anyone provide insight regarding the CPT TM I role?

After speaking with the recruiter I was shocked to hear total comp is $110k first year? Can anyone corroborate this? As a rep currently making $140k-$170k annually selling various med/surg products I was expecting far more from Abbott/SJM.

Any additional insight pertaining to comp, quality of life, culture and foreseeable changes with the Abbott acquisition would be greatly appreciated.

Great role lifestyle wise but the pay is entirely inadequate.

Thank you for confirming. I was definitely under the impression at all SJM positions were $180+. I guess cardiac and ortho are still the most lucrative markets within device sales.

Any intel on what the salary / base breakdown of the $110K at plan is? How are the CPT products received in the market place?

Is there more $$ in other divisions?

Average at plan pay for territory in neuromod position is closer to $180k yes. Usually working off a $65-75k base

"at plan"... Mgmt and Nevro makes sure you'll not reach plan. Take the CS position. This way you're not held accountable... For anything!

Is it typical for ABT to start as CS (TSM1) and move to TSM3?

Also, how are there products received in the marketplace vs. nervo / MDT and other?

I make more than that as a CS3. TM1 start pretty low and are normally contracted year to year. But yea you would progress if they like you. I had a friend recently contacted by a recruiter and they low balled her too.
