Great company. Very well organized for immediate and sustained success. I'm interviewing for a sales territory in the Northeast and very excited about this opportunity. Feels different from the big pharma companies I've worked for over the years.

Huh? Odd statement - Clayman's legacy Lilly.

You can add the weak former RM's from Pfizer, as well.

Wow, generic Kenalog! What an innovation! You're poised, alright. Poised to dive with the other ill-contrived startups on this board.

Anyone been given an "assignment" by a hiring manager?

What kind of assignment? I had a face to face with the hiring manager but did not get an assignment. Are you referring to the Publicis initial assessment with those 7-8 questions?

I have a face to face set up for the end of the month. Any word on salary?

Seriously what is the salary range?

Never going to move forward with dumbass managers that think they can issue me an assignment that takes several hours of my time during the prelim. interviewing. Who do these people think they are? I am not being compensated for my time, so not jumping through a bunch of ego stroking hoops for anyone when an offer isn't on the table. You issue an assignment? You can pony up some comp. for my time and effort. I am not a charity.

I couldn't agree with you more! They just want to see who is going to jump when they say jump and simply fall in line like a recruit at boot camp. This also shows you exactly what the company culture will be like. Micromanagement is right around the corner. Beware when making your decision.

I have interviewed many times over my career and any manager that starts out like this is a huge red flag. The interview process is give and take and should be to assess fit between both parties involved. Managers that issue homework or projects are usually raging assholes and should be avoided at all cost. I will politely let the manager know that I don't feel there is a good fit and thanks for the opportunity to have a discussion but there is no need to continue wasting each others time. I will also mention that free work isn't a part of my career trajectory and if he/she cannot look at my resume, check my references, and ascertain my abilities from a few interviews, there is no point. No free man hours for anyone. Learned my lesson on this years ago. They aren't the only rodeo in town.

The assignment is filter to weed out who is willing to put in some effort and/or complete an assignment even if they don't believe in it. If you are unwilling to complete an assignment in the interview phase then your effort level only goes down from there once hired. Consider yourself weeded out mfer's

I've had 2 recruiters reach out to me about this position. What is the pay range? It sounds like a high risk job so it better be high reward. I want even consider interviewing without knowing what the compensation plan is I call on ortho's there gonna have to pay for the relationships or this will never get off the ground.

An assignment sounds like something for the unemployed. Gonna speak with an ortho tomorrow and get his opinion on the product.

I believe the person said they would end the interview for you and leave. Life is too short to work for an entitled asshole who already enters relationships not trusting people. People who don't trust are better known as untrustworthy themselves. Project much?
