I can not believe what I am hearing. This company wonders why they scored so poorly on the evoice. For the last several years this company says one thing and does another. Our lack of volume sales is due to poor morale and poor coverage. Before the trolls come on here and slam me for making "excuses" you have to ask yourself how you have performed if your territory has your product covered greater than 40%? Blame starts at the top and trickles down.

We need FEWER managers, directors and VPs. You guys are ALL overhead. You contribute squat to the bottom line. I can't believe you guys have been sold a scam by whatever consultancy company.

You're going to eliminate 185 revenue producing positions.

    It's insane.

BTW you might not have a job in two months, but please complete 10 hours of LMS modules this week. Oh, and LMS is down.

What I understood is that it is not the DCS roles that would be cut, but more the commercial leadership, rbd, dbm, etc? Did I misunderstand that? ( with 185 cut but 70 added)

Also will the lady with the flu please mute her mic?

He said the 185 mostly from diabetes. It's going to include field. There's not enough managers to cut 185.

Yup! Did the same for Saxenda/Tresiba too. It's the Novo Nordisk way.

You misunderstood, sales is where the cuts are coming from!

The cost cutting measures must have began with this webinar. Here's how I saw it playing out in my head. Someone get on Letgo and find a camcorder, make sure autofocus is broken too then we will stand in front of this blank wall with the hallway in the back instead of a flashy stage so we look humble. Oh and don't wear a mic so we can hear everyone in the room breathing through their mouth and all the whispering as we present info that will change lives. And for good measure let's have the custodians walk by in the background once or twice so it looks like business as usual here.

the 70 jobs added include DE's for obesity, and additional management positions. They are not adding sales positions.

Of the 185 cut, redundant management, CDBM positions, and low volume areas.

Basically, adding management is their solution after the evolve suggested otherwise. Horrible timing for this shit. New iPads and training, victoza cv, sema, competition closing in, no more price increases, lots of talent leaving, totally new leadership, access closing down, etc.

    Is this the gong show?

Adding management is just an ego trip for the ET. They add nothing to organizational efficiency. Please give me ONE concrete example of how having all 5 VPs in NJ is going to drive localization and tighter collaboration. This is literally the worst idea I've ever heard in my entire career in pharma. I gotta go get a job with the consultancy co who sold the company this. Incredible!

Oh and the guy who talked about the camera, coughing, and janitors...I'm still laughing!

Did anyone else notice that Edcs wasn't on the new sales model either? It was just DCS & Hsdc, interesting......

"were eliminating all EDCS positions. The good news is that you can apply for one of the 70 newly created VP spots!"

EDCS were on there- under DBM and Specialty DBM, it listed 3 DCS and 3 EDCS.

I cannot believe they would fire more reps and add more DE positions and managers.

EDCS was listed right next to DCS on the chart.

This just might be the best post I've ever read on here!! WTF Novo- Expanding educators (which doesn't generate revenue) in the obesity market(minimal revenue), adding MORE management that is supposedly "localized" but based in home office, all while cutting 185 positions in the one department that does generate revenue-sales. And oh by the way, "minimal job loss implications, if any, are expected for "enabling functions" aka the dead weight who sit in home office and also don't generate revenue. They said "enabling functions" support the sales team, so if the sales team is getting cut why in the hell won't any cuts be made to these losers?

This has to be a fucking joke.
