Why are we meeting? What is the "business" purpose? Why Florida in the middle of a very violent hurricane season? Can't we find something more productive to spend our money on?

Our leadership is very, very strange. I would bet a years pay they could give sound reasons to meet! That's why our faith in them dwindles by the day.

Even my manager has no clue why we are meeting. Yeah, Florida this time of the year is damn stupid. We can't go much longer with this horrible leadership. Something has to give.

Why you ask? Their response would be, "why not, we LOVE to meet!" No reason to meet. Just want to spend some money.

Looks like Hurricane Irma is headed right over Florida! But what's more important, facing a potential hurricane, or role playing our patent profiles? Easy answer to that one! Bring on the profiles!

I, for one, can't wait to go to Mickey Mouse land to have the opportunity to role play our new patient profile! Think how excited our docs will be to see a new person with MDD symptoms displayed right before them, ALONG with the solution to their problems!!! I get goose bumps just thinking about it! Then, just imagine what our cracker jack marketing department will unveil, probably with a Disney character (oooh, I hope it's Peter Pan!) to give us the competitive advantage over our competition!

JA will undoubtedly go over our amazing pipeline too! I'm sure they will announce the "label change" for Trin at the opening session! By now, the FDA has to see the error of their ways! The show stopper will be a patient onstage, that fought and defeated depression/schizo, with AM or Rex! Oh, I almost forgot the unbelievably great food ! Yum, yum, more Mexican beans, rice and tacos!

See you real soon!! Hi ho! Hi ho! It's off to the meeting we go! Hi ho! Hi ho! Hi ho! Hi ho! Hi ho! Hi ho!

A company with concern for their people would keep them out of harms way. Once again a true reflection of the changes in just a few years here

Well I guess that's one way to reduce headcount and limit bonus payout...

Unfortunately, the above is probably an accurate description of the meeting. I am still waiting for someone to tell me why we are even having a damn meeting! Don't they realize we get absolutely nothing out of them? Something is bad wrong at Lundbeck.

The folks attending the FL meeting might be in for a shit storm! The question of why we are even having a meeting is simple to answer, someone has a box to check for Kare. But seriously, why FL in the middle of hurricane season? Are they really, really that stupid? The irresponsibility of management is scary, let alone their inability to lead. As sales/profit start to drop, stupid decisions such as this will become an every day thing. Yeah, something is seriously wrong at Lundbeck.

Hey, look on the bright side, they could have picked Houston

I am shocked it wasn't switched to Houston. Cant wait to hear the positive spin management puts on this. Should be entertaining.

And for those of you not from Florida, the hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Oh that's good to hear! Seriously though, this meeting should be cancelled. This hurricane season is extremely active, so why even take a small chance? And I heard there is nothing of ANY significance that will take place to warrant spending money and time on. In fact, once again, most of the time will be juvenile role playing! It's so obvious that, either upper management has passed from incompetent to another level, or they are either being told by Otsuka/Takeda to have a meeting. Either way, it's pathetic.

You wonder, if you could sit down with PA, and he would be totally and completely honest in his answer to the following question, "By having this meeting will we grow business?" What do you think his answer would be?

you're a moron - the Omni at Champions gate is 10 min from Disney. Middle of nowhere?!?!?

Maybe as the crow flys. No way you get to a restaurant on Disney property in less than 1/2 hour. And there are no restaurants of value in Davenport proper. You ever try to get on or off that exit of I-4? Good luck with your 10 minutes.

His answer would be, "No, it won't increase business, but that's not why we are meeting!" It's because that's all we know to do. We have no new data, we are losing coverage, nothing of value in the pipeline, key drugs that have lost patents or will in the coming months, and nothing to provide you that will increase sales.

It is bordering on the bizarre.

Surely now they will cancel the meetings around the country with Kare the Never Seen and Steffan jumping ship! Talk about having one giant gossip fest with nothing accomplished! But no, in their wonderful business wisdom, we will still have them.

I think everyone now sees there is no future at Lundbeck. Our leaders now comprise JA and PA. Scary, I know. With all that is happening, which is too much to list here, you think they might want to save a buck or two. But no, they think the answer is to go over probing and closing. They are genuinely convinced this is the answer. Where did they get these people? The only ones with any brains were Kare and Staffan!

Neurology will be gone in a few months, merged with what's left of psych. Then Onfi will go generic after Trin and Rex stumble. How many reps will be needed then? Will ASM's still only have 7 or 8 reps, or 12 to 14? Will people finally realize they have NO RETIREMENT here, and realize how important it is to have one? Will people realize they are way underpaid compared to other specialty sales teams? Will they be concerned with having no pipeline?

In summary, can you list just 5 reasons to stay?
