Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black? What happens to our own exclusive, tiered rebate, or one of two incentive contracts?

How about suing payers for step edits, PBMs for NDC blocks and exclusions, or DHHS for statutory requirements of at least two drugs from each category and class in government formularies. LOL.

I don't think Pfizer understands that nobody really pays WAC and the power of a free market is negotiating the real price with the customer. Sounds like sour grapes!

Maybe its a desperate cry for help to the real state of the company and a PR stunt to blunt what could be terrible 3rd quarter financial reports.

Love to be a fly on the wall next time a Pfizer account manager goes into Aetna, UHC, Cigna or Anthem to talk market access for the portfolio. Hope they got a good script.

No problem. Maybe you can buy us and put us out of our misery! I think we have run out of ideas and now have to blame others for our own mistakes.

Just remember, anyone can sue anyone. Winning is a whole different matter.

Yeah, that'll work. Suing your customers is always a great idea.
    It fosters loyal customers.

Bunch of cry-babies is correct. Pfizer got out gamed by the competition and only have the whining biosimilar marketing team to thank. Pfizer lost its edge years ago and now its lost its way.

Suing J&J is optics to shareholders, while screwing with customers or employees is a way of life here at Pfizer. Its about us in attitude even if we don't have the substance. Pfizer has lost its MOJO. Just look at the games going on at the leadership level. Who's fooling who?

Pfizer is the undisputed heavyweight champion of Pharma. Big blue delivered the KO punch to over 70,000 employees including all the acquired people that got tossed. Who or what company on this whole globe, could ever acquire Pfizer ? NONE

So lets see if we have this straight. Company with product x has 100% dominate share of a market - new product coming and and product x company says lets make sure we lock in our customers with nice contracting and rebate opportunities so they won't go to the competitor - and we tell our customers you can count on us we will price match to the new competition down to the last dime - stick with us and we will give you what you want.

Seems like a logical and legal business move.
