Valeant said it will sell Sprout, the subsidiary that produces Addyi-the female libido pill, to a former shareholder of Sprout in exchange for a 6% royalty on global sales of Addyi. The sale is expected to close before the end of 2017. Addyi is the only approved and commercialized product of Sprout. http://alph.st/b0896dd5

Are they giving the sales reps a severance package?

Why would you ask a dumb question like that?

I think they're giving a severance of maybe 2 weeks to a month. If you sign it you waive all rights of being involved in any litigation against Valeant in the future. Read the severance carefully. Valeant is known to pay off employees to not come after them legally.

They all do that. Boilerplate agreements.
