Fake as his education. All you have to do is look at the proxy and financial statements to see the depth of nepotism in this company. It has to be the most nepotism in any public company and now the fate of the company will be with Justin. One thing is clear, he is not his dad nor does he have the acumen to do his current position.

Justin is an outstanding leader. Groomed by his father and share many of the same wonderful qualities. High integrity, born and raised in Utah with great values. Obviously a great choice to succeed his father when the time is right.

LOL the boy is nothing like the father and the reason that the vast majority of reps are gone with the exceptions of those who signed up for the lowest paying gig in the medical arena. Not one rep here is happy with the fact that their earning potential took a huge hit. All me too devices sold as the low cost alternative

What do you mean earnings potential took a huge hit? Has something changed recently? My impression was that Merit pay was low but drastically so in the past.

I’ve known Justin for a relatively short period of time and have nothing but positive experiences.

I’ve been impressed with what he’s done commercially with the organization both in terms of structure and direction and I’ve followed Merit for several years in my somewhat lengthy medical device career.

Personally, I find him quite genuine and if nothing else, refreshing in his approach.

I was with the company for many years and worked with Justin somewhat closely. He’s very personable and intelligent leader. While there, he had built divisions capable of carrying Merit well in to the future. He had a clear vision for the future and made things happen. My experience was very empowered and positive.
Having worked for a number of sales and marketing executives in my 17+ years, I’d put him in the top five...easily.

Justin is a totally solid dude. Direct, thoughtful and ethical as they come. I’ve worked at MM for a bit under a year and came from the BIG companies. Repeat: solid company and solid dude. I love these kind of threads. All the low life can’t hacks that get pissed and spew it on a public forum. Comical.

I wish Todd F was half as good as he thinks he is.

He is incredibly greedy, doesn’t care about the employees, and is turning the company to shit. Good public speaker, but if you actually listen to what he says, it’s just a bunch of big key words that don’t actually mean anything. Any good reps that are still there are leaving very quickly.

It’s a privelage to work for Merit and in Justin’s organization. Some just can’t get with the times and want Merit to be the Merit of 15 years ago. Move on!! Justin has moved Merit in the right direction when others couldn’t. Guy has guts. Many tried. I know because I experienced it first hand!! I will also say that Todd is an excellent leader. Working under several prior and sales VP he is taking the US in the direction it needs to go in. I work several layers underneath him of course but he’s been accessible and listens. Very good guy.

Get a life, sour grape eaters! Seriously! Get a life.

Truth time....Most of us in the sales org don’t really know Justin very well. So I agree that sour grapes are in order. But from what I know, see and have generally experienced he has done a fine job in building out the company.

Let’s get a few things straight.

As someone pointed out earlier, most of us sales reps just don’t know Justin or Todd beyond annual or regional meetings so anyone claiming otherwise of full of it. Justin is an excellent guy. It’s just that simple. Doing what others should have done a decade ago. From my little perch he’s built the right team and divisions. It’s paying off obviously. Todd is an all round excellent sales VP. I have had several conversations with him. He’s a breath of fresh air compared to the former sales VP Don =Disaster= Dunn. His work is obviously paying off. This has to be the dumbest internet conversation I’ve ever read and obviously has a troll or two. My guess is it is a disgruntled ex sales rep. That’s a shockingly outlandish guess. I realize that.

So is Todd Frese still there? I used to work with him at another company, and I know he moved on to Merit. What's the scoop?

JL hired Todd as the VP of the US. He’s doing an excellent job. Very solid business executive. Not a political (Mormon) hack like the last few.
