A recruiter told me that top AE's could make over $55k per qtr in the northeast in bonus. Is this recruiter bs or a real possibility? Anyone really making $200k or more?

If it was 2 years ago, no way now. This place will try anything and everything to limit your commission potential with so many restrictions.

no way!!! There is so much out of your control and very hard to make that money in the Norheast.. that is why turnover is so high. You can’t live on the money you make in the North east. It’s horrible.

For every good year at Quest you will have one bad year and then a mediocre year. There is no such thing as smooth incremental growth here....it's all hockey sticks. Up and down.

In fact, the finance people at this organization that make the projections are some of the poorest I've encountered.

So how much would an AE make in the north east? Average? What is the base salary like, car?, benefits? I'm looking to get out of the industry that I am in and I remember hearing good things about Lab Sales. Thanks in advance.

No freaking way would I recommend you come here for a career move. Lab Sales is awful. Quest Diagnostics are the leaders in lab and both are terrible.

As a PAE - Base is like 55-65K.
    Specialists make 75K-90K base

Even the middle management make jack squat compared to other medical sales jobs.

Target bonus for AEs and Specialty AEs is $48K but most don't seem to be making that.

The things I hate worst about the company:
    1. Company car - with a GPS that reports to your boss how many times you stopped to take a piss every week. Oh, I think they charge you $150 a month for this privilege.
    2. NO CELL PHONE REIMBURSEMENT. YES, THIS IS NOT A JOKE !!!
    3. Incredible micromanaging metrics. Get this - you have to pre-call and post-call every single call. Even calls where you have to put out a fire, which is like half your day. Oh, you have to do this two days in advance! This really adds up on time...., especially with a large territory.
    4. Our leadership are a bunch of egotistical dickholes that show up to sales meetings with dreadlock hair or stories about riding in limousines (YES, THIS IS NOT A JOKE !!!)
    5. You will have one or two good years and then one crappy year and then one mediocre year so dollar cost average your bonus potential over four years.
    6. Last but not least - some of the biggest f'ing flunkies in management I have ever met. These people are like a bunch of f'ing hicks winning the lottery that strut around for no f'ing reason. I have never seen a bigger bunch of r*****s try so hard.
So, come on over if you want!
