Currently in interview process for this position. According to various random posts on this site it seems that current AMs believe that 1.) Otsuka invests WAY too many resources in these reps, 2.) they generally tend to be a disaster, and 3.) will often times jump ship after a few years.

What are your experiences with Ready Now people? Good job? Bad job? Did they stick in their own lane, etc?

I woke up this morning in bed with my RNR, so yea we sometimes don’t stay in our own lanes.hope that helps!

Do you like your job? Do you feel like the stationary AM's feel threatened by you? Is your team supportive?

Good job on the sexual relations

Don’t do it if your a guy ...the manager is a dick and hits on all the girls! Thinks he is so special but typical jersey trash. Don’t do it dude! He thinks it’s funny that his rnr slept in a car (eggplant emoji)!!

I mean think about it - otsuka trains and hires these people with zero experience. We basically prepare them to go work at another company where they will make a lot more money after they gained Pharma experience.

Genius right lol...look at the stats few are successful and they are forced down our throats so Rob J can claim he and the HR team are innovative and successful.

Take a closer look at how much these reps really cost full package: salary, car, + all expenses on top of the extra effort it takes DMs to get them so they can grasp the basics its only a win for the RNR. Call Rob J he loves to talk about how amazing and successful he is - acts as though he discovered Gold. ;)

If you researched the page I am sure you got your answer. If you want in the door so you can get experience and then leave shortly after then by all means welcome.

Call Rob J he will tell you all about himself, ReadyNow, more about himself, the company and of course everything about himself. Oh sorry you will need to wait until next week because some how he was handed an award trip to Costa Rica. Not because he is measured by sales numbers rarely even does field rides or provides coaching to his "reps" but because there were extra spots and his BFF in HR got it for him.

All the while we are all out here busting hump driving the organizations performance SO instead of the logical thing and selected the next sales person in line who is technically eligible they give it to some random home office people WHO mind you are not in the running at all. Read the rules - wait at Otsuka the HO can change the rules whenever they feel like it or for whomever they feel like doing it for. Hope you got the answer you need to make an informed decision about RN.

I am going through the interview process now for the ready now program. I’ve made it through the virtual screening and the phone interview – just waiting to hear back about the in-person interview. If I were to get asked back, does anyone have any advice or tips? Anyone out there who has been through the interview process and the program itself?

I know the job description says they are looking for 2-5 years post-graduate experience, but I just graduated 4 months ago (I landed a full-time job at a big name pharma company post-college and interned at a different pharma company last summer). This hasn’t held me back yet and I hope it doesn’t determine if I will be invited back either.

ok. The elephant in the room. Pharma sales sucks ass. Yes the pay can be pretty good but the stability is a joke. Every company is undergoing a new reorganization every 18 months. Why would anyone want to build a career in the industry. It’s dying and within 5 years I guarantee u nationwide there will be another 25% reps laid off.
If u have kids or u are u see 50 please go find a real career. Besides we don’t do anything except cater food for fat ass nurses and pretend to be important. We r not.

Ready Now gives our profession a bad name. Young, good looking, unexperienced people hired and expected to make an impact. ALL EXPENSES PAID. These young kids are getting a full ride to do nothing. And they learn to expect everything handed to them. The rep in Florida, blond 24 year old, this is her very first job ever, and even though she has a great salary and expenses paid, she doesn't need this job bc her daddy still pays for everything. She has had multiple complaints about promiscuous clothing and she sleeps with pharmacists. I wonder how that impacts the professional relationship of the tenured rep in the territory. And in a world where no one cares who sleeps with who, I still feel bad for the reputation she has made for herself at this company and in the industry.

I joined RN in 2018. It is a good option for someone who has no experience and is young. Like tenured reps, someone had to give you a chance. This is my chance. How do you get experience if nobody will give you a chance to earn it?
I'm ambitious and hard working, and yes, young and pretty. I am able to get into offices, I'm respected and provide good information, and no, I do not sleep with anyone (especially pharmacists. Why would anyone bother to do that?)
I know I am looked down upon by reps who have been here many years or have been in the industry longer than I've been alive, but if I can bring value and the company gets 90% of the results with 70% of the cost and a chance to develop, it's a success. I say 90%, but I see I am well above 100% in terms of outperforming a lot of the established people here.

Just because they enjoy the food you bring, doesn’t mean they respect you
