are you taking about the fuse that was lit to launch our cerec mission to the moon? Well that rocket exploded in midair about 50' off the launchpad.

    This is my fight song.

i think what's being discussed is yet another doomed mission that's been talked about for so long and Schein has yet again brown us away.

I stopped talking Eaglesft when a customers data was found on the internet after a hack of our systems.

You mean the cloud based practice management software they only want select customers using that they haven't gotten out of beta testing yet and are only targeting multi location clinics with because they know better then the average dentist what they want? You mean the overpriced barely functional software they announced 2 years ago in Orlando but have yet to bring to market? That FUSE?

Take back my life song... pffffft whatever.

i think you mean that fuse that sparked the realization of just how useless this company has become under the current mob running this mess.

    Please just fuck off song

No way. Did a customer's data really show up on the internet after our server was hacked?

BTW, I love the fight song references. Anyone care to guess this year's rally cry for the tech summit? I'm going with Pumpkin Head rocking Eddie Money 2 Tickets to Paradise.

Patterson doesn't keep eaglesoft data on a server itself, it's kept on a server locally at each office that uses the software. If there's been a data breach that is something that each office is personally responsible for regardless of software that they use. If they don't have the proper firewalls and such in place they of course begcome vulnerable but they are responsible not Patterson. Could the software be more secure on its own sure, but all software can be better so that's like saying Misiak could stop shitting up the place but he won't...

but can you trust a company that can't secure its own ftp servers?

Well if the breach was the ftp servers they use to do conversions at the PTC, then that's a major issue... and conformation of that?

If by "fuse' you mean the thing that ignites the firing of the executive team, light it now.

fuse is not ready no matter what the idiots at corporate say. It is and will be a failure. Think about what a failure and waste of time and money the stupid moonshot was. If anyone believes these morons have invented a better “mouse trap” they are delusional. They should fade away into dental hell where they belong. That’s all I have to say about that!

    sad, true, and funny.

Can’t wait for the next “summit” to hear the beating of the fuse drum and the panic promotions centered around it. As always, late to the game and very ordinary.

1 horseman down, 3 to go.

I think Patterson is going to get sold to McKesson. I would bet that the next CFO they bring in will have worked with our new CEO before or will have experience in mergers and acquacitions. Perfect timing for Amazon to take more market share while the industry is in chaos right now. Patterson I think is looking to take the offensive and do some dramatic changes.

The question is, is there any money to be made in dental? Is it compared to MCKs business and margins?
Dental is fragmented and highly competitive. I'd walk away.

it would be nice if they could maybe get the stock price up before that happens FFS! No doubt the industry will continue to shake up but with the useless dental leadership there today, our strategies to get us anywhere are always off. No one respects them at all.
