6 weeks ago I accepted a mediocre job with little pay for a large pharma company. I was scared that if I didn’t just take a job right at that moment, then months from now I’ll still be without a position. Fearing that my family would be without dental and healthcare and without a vehicle, and with no fight in me, I reluctantly accepted a job making 17, 000 less than I had here at Depomed. It was a bad decision but it was a decision that this blood sucking company forced me and so many others to make when they lied to us about the stability of this company and how they were going to protect us financially if we lost our jobs. So now I’m looking for another job fresh out of training with the job I just got in primary care! 17 years in pharma and I’m back in primary care because Depomed didn’t think enough of its employees to give more than 4 weeks of severance to help us have time to research and interview for the best opportunities that we could secure. When all of this is over, I will have worked 3 places in one year, making me look like an unstable candidate. I read the “move on” comments. I can’t imagine anyone but Arthur, his rich board cronies, or the tired HR people posting those remarks. They are vicious, unkind and apathetic to the employees who got the rug pulled from under us. Most of us have taken jobs that barely pay our bills. Children have had to change schools. Some people had to buy cars with the little money they had to scrape together. A lot of employees remain unemployed without healthcare. A few friends have had to work out forbearance agreements on their homes and make payment arrangements for basic essentials. One colleague was diagnosed with cancer last week with no health insurance because she couldn’t afford Cobra. So I don’t want to see another “move on” response while we are still living with the knife in our backs from your broken promises. I applaud the poster who has given us tools to fight with and I along with some others have initiated claims in states across the country. If nothing else comes of this but to draw a light on how deceptive this company is to the consumers, the stockholders, the medical community and the employees, I’ll be ok just knowing that at least I did something to fight for my family and protect my own rights. No middle aged person should ever have to go through this again. Wouldn’t it have been easier to just pay the employees what you promised, no matter what? Greed is a beast. But at least Arthur can rest at night. Tell me just how did it feel to take the severance of hundred employees for yourself while I have to find a cheaper childcare for my twins across town?

As a fiscal Conservative, I believe in Self-Responsibilty and not a handout. I’m grateful and thankful for the opportunity Depomed gave me as they are the employer. You sound entitled. Always do what’s best for your employer.

    ENTITLED-not earned, to be given
EARNED-to gain or get in return for one's labor or service:to merit as compensation, as for service; deserve:

Bottom Line-The employees all EARNED what we were promised. We signed an agreement with Depomed that in exchanged for staying with the company and working hard through turbulent, unstable times, we would receive compensation in form of the only severance agreement that we signed and was made a part of the Employee Handbook.

YOU sound like a pompous, disgraceful, deplorable, narcissistic jackass. If you are so happy with the treatment of Depomed, why continuously attempt to discredit another’s person experience? Maybe because you are not one of us. Maybe you are Arthur, or Joe the liar who first said that he used to be on the board then tried to pretend he was on the Pain team; or maybe you are one of the HR staff. Who knows? One thing is for sure, be ready to start liking the color ORANGE. When we get finished sharing voicemails, emails, recordings from training encouraging off label selling and misleading statements, and showing a consistency in deceptive behavior, you will wish that you had acted a little more civil to us. Now STFU.

Be lucky you had a job. Employer/Employee denotes an “At Will” relationship. You sound like those people who have a racial grievance with America as if they never received something they earned or were promised. Cry me a river!!!! Move on

wow, I guess I’m one of those entitled whites. Nope. Just a hardworking one, but thanks for letting us all know there are racists at Depomed. I’ll be sure to include that within the filing. BTW, I have my deposition with AG in 2 weeks. It’s funny what comes out when you are antagonized. Tagging you in “ZZ.” Maybe we can find out more crap to throw in the fire.

Some idiots won’t be happy until they are wearing handcuffs. I thought that the OP told you to STFU. If this post doesn’t affect or concern you, the move on. But it’s apparent that it is hitting home because you seem real nervous. Almost like “no collusion, let’s move on.” The guilty always yells the loudest. We got you and you know it. Be very afraid.

Be happy that Depomed provided a means to feed your family and pay your bills. It’s over now. Start your own business and don’t be dependent on a corporation. Self Reliance and Personal Responsibity are core values that you should live by. Don’t be a Bitter Benny.

Look, we all believe in personal responsibility, but how is Depomed not living up to their end any different than you or me bouncing a check? I’m moved on professionally, but they still have to live up to their obligations

Agreed. Waste of time on that lawsuit. A bunch of teenage girls are on this thread. The handsome prom date dumped you. MOVE ON. You’re not wanted.

OK Arthur. We will move on and pretend that you don’t owe each one of us an additional 80k. We will just forget that you re-negotiated your severance package by more than an additional 2 million dollars after informing us that 1. we were laid off 2. that you were withholding our money. You are right Trump, I mean Arthur, there is nothing to see here. We won’t mention that the board never approved the severance package that was distributed or the fact that you rolled the dice to see how many little sheeps would keep feeding with their heads down and failed to count the many lions with their heads up. You are right Arthur, we should just be happy that we got to work for the great Depomed, but wait, the word here is WORK meaning that we did what we were paid to do. Depomed hired us, not vice versa. You should be glad that we held up our end of the bargain and stated to the end. Since we left your products have fallen off by more than -20%. See how wefulfilled our end of the agreement, now it’s to me for Depomed to fulfill theirs. You are right we should Move On because it’s apparent that you are fearful about what will be discovered with the cross country case filings because if you weren’t, the elementary school, apathetic, often racially motivated phrase you continuously uttered wouldn’t continuously come out of your Dead Man Walking pathetic, degenerate mouth. Let’s try this, you Move on and watch us bring you down. Move on and stop responding to every post that scares you. Move on and celebrate the fact that you almost got away with scamming over 300 people you Con Man. Move on and try to pretend that these posts are not about you. Move on and try to act like you did the right thing. Move on, oh wait, you can’t, because we got you by the balls and you know it!, so instead you plead with us to Move On out of fear of being caught. LMBO?”. We can just imagine you peeping out from under your sheets at night asking wifey “did they move on yet?” Don’t worry, we will move on when we get what is due. In the mean time, try this, you move on, Move on Arthur and your peons and stop posting on Cafepharma. We are out to get you and it is what it is.

becsuse I didn’t move on, I am getting 10x what Dep tried to swindle me out of. Why would people just move on with money on the table? That’s what Art want you to do so this investigation won’t go forward with business fraud.

    LMBO
    Someone is really scared.
    -move on
    -personal responsibility
    -handout

    We worked.
    We earned.
    We had an agreement.
    You reneged.
    You are being sued.
    The end.

Now get ready to fall in deep love with your cell mate.

Take personal responsibility for your lies and deceit.
No one is giving you a handout in the form of our severance pay to pad your own pockets.
You need to move on and let the court decide who is right and who is wrong.

    See how that works?
    What a tool!
We can see your knees shaking.

    “We worked.

You sound like those slave descendents who complain about the Constitution and 40 acres and a mule that they think they earned.
