Offered sales job on contract with company and wondering if it’s actually a good place to work.

    Red Flag #1
We will NOT be receiving company cards for travel (hotel while in field) or lunches. We will pay for this out of our own pockets and then be reimbursed. This was information given to me until I asked when we needed to sign up for our cards. In my 10 plus years in pharma, we have always been given a corporate card. This seems strange to me.

    Red Flag #2
I asked when we will receive our company iPads/laptops/computers and I was told part will be shipped on the first day of homestuday and the rest will be sent later in the week but not to worry because we should have them before we go to live training. In my experience, we have ALWAYS received computers and printers prior to the start of home study unless there was a glitch. Apparently this is their plan...

    Red Flag #3
The travel person was freaked out because my airline ticket was so expensive. I’ve never had a company make such a huge deal
Out of the cost of an airline ticket.

What is going on?! I’m about to send my acceptance letter but my intuition is telling me don’t! Any thoughts???

sounds like you got nothing else going on. Probably Laid off recently .....stop bitching and take the job that we all know you already accepted

I knew it all sounded too good to be true. I did not get an offer but sounds like they are cheap, cheap, cheap. I bet they do the launch meeting somewhere crappy

Miami in the middle of the summer....hot hot hot. Although I did have a previous launch at the Lowe's Miami south beach which was great because of all the cool bars on Ocean Drive

If you are young and inexperienced; you will likely NOT pass and will be sent home.

there are posts about how they are too cheap to hire experienced reps, and posts about how inexperienced reps won’t pass.

Don’t listen to anyone here. It’s a pretty good company and if you want to go for it, all the power to you!
