Why are the bonus payouts in Merck Oncology so terrible???

Because Keytruda is the only thing keeping the company afloat and people actually want this product. So, the company knows this and they set the bar really high to hit bonus. Sort of like the carrot that the rabbit chases and never catches.

One of the reasons why many are looking outside the mother ship.

ROBOTS all of you. You dress alike act alike and have managers from PC who know nothing about Oncology other than trials worked out, but they keep pushing. If my accounts see another Merck manager we will all be kicked out, not to mention the 3 that show up together in every office. STOP It please.

Great product. Dang unfortuate that most reps can't make any coin. Sales goals out of control. Division is run like primary care on steroids.

so funny. They raised the field rides to 4/5 days per week for CTLs. The OSRs are saddled with a manager constantly. Onc run like primary care because of DCOs like ME, All the good people are interviewing outside and leaving. And ironically, all PC has beens will fill the voids. And headquarters doesn't care. I would rather go to BMS so I am not so micro'd

You are my prime example of useless uneducated worthless manager. The best thing for the company would be the termination of you all.

I discussed the situation with a upper manager and they recognize the problem. Bucket levels now being organized and the bottom two will be gone.

You have discussed nothing with an upper manager. But what is being discussed is how customers don't see a damn difference between long time oncology reps and new hires with little experience. The high salary fat will be cut soon.

Clarification....if the customers even sees Merck reps. The glut of us on the market is decreasing our access or does upper management not know that? Total disconnect.

As a rep from another company, (who doesn't compete with Merck), will you folks please stop the aggressive tactics and getting everyone thrown out of offices and Grand Rounds? Cut the primary care gig and act like onc professionals. We all realize your misguided management is pushing this unsuccessful agenda to keep Keytruda #1 but any pushback you can provide is appreciated.
