I call bs. How many times have people posted about dates and calls and ‘insider info’ on here.

As far as resp goes they can’t afford to cut anymore! Gsk alreAdy has more than we do in the way of people samples and budget. How do they think they’re going to grow anything in that TA by cutting more people? Not to mention the Bevespi anoro trial readout coming soon and triple too. If they’re gonna cut anything it’s going to be the 27 diabetes reps per territory!

Here's my bet. Its been awhile since layoff threads have been front and center. This is simply the same thread, different wording. Just coming full circle again. For what....2 years now? Idiots try to predict, always failing, when layoffs will occur. Case in point: the aforementioned last course of years. Old timers would drool over another layoff for a minute opportunity for a severance package, or better yet, self-identify. Now that's a term you'll never hear again at AZ. Self what?? So, come June 29, July 30, August 2020, and so on.Your best bet is that you and we are all here for a long time. We are AZ lifers'. Chart it down, Sally. No chance to leave. Just like Hotel California.

AZ is like a Roach Motel. You can check in but it's hard to check out.

Well you got the first part right. But, when they want you to leave you will leave, on your own terms or theirs ,but you will leave.

Ugh ooh. Its june 21. 8 more days till the 29th. Things are hush hush. Just kidding, we all know this is another troll thread about fictional layoffs that'll never happen.
So, everyone take Friday the 29th -July 4 off and relax, breathe a sigh of relief.

  10. Relax children, its no fun to cut people during the summer. All downsizing announcements are scheduled during Christmas. Ho Ho Ho !

must agree with these posts--- wwaaayy too many! we should all report to Regional. Regionals should have two or three Admin Assits who approve expense reports and other administrative duties reps have---why do we have DSMs?? old out dated model--

Massive reorg. Cut the waste and decrease management dramatically. With less than 40% access in some cases 20% - just a call number for samples or info - no reps. Overall 60% change and can still operate. Move up the food chain to decision makers over large blocks of brands. Now we are talking about returning to profitability. DSM = outdated model and duplication of effort. CBD = duplication of effort in AZ model - use as c suite contact and reduce numbers. EBD - delete as of zero value.

Pfizer of all Pharma companies just blinked in the face of opposition and exposure from Trump. Their announced price increase July 1 were just rolled back and put on hold. The days of propping up share prices and profit margins by routinely increasing drug prices are over. Just another sign that doing business in America by inflating prices often paid for by insurance companies and subsidizing drug costs in Socialist Europe and else where, are over. This has been sop for companies doing business in the U.S. for decades. Good for Trump for exposing another rip off of the American consumer.

Also Pfizer announced a major reorg. Not sure of specifics but you can bet AZ will follow their lead. They always play follow the leader. It is in their DNA.

Oh please, enough with this bull shit. Pfizer has no oncology business or pipeline, with the uncertainty in Europe and Brexit no one in their right mind would even attempt to buy a UK company.
So climb back into your hole and live your miserable life!!!!
