    Wow! This is so dead on correct!
    The worst thing is the pre-call planning two days in advance or you get dinged on your bi-annual evaluations.
    The funniest part is the fact that leadership at the national sales meeting tried to say that that the reps that did the best job with pre-call planning at least two days in advance were the reps that did the best in terms of sales!

    Wasn't always like this. Years ago you were able to do really well and make upwards of $300k. Those days are long gone. It is now like a pharma company. Good job for a second income in the family or for young people out of college. Smaller labs still paying well though. You just have to work harder as nothing will be handed to you like they are at Quest

    True! At least at Quest you have an army of people to help you. But it is definitely pharma. Sad.

    At Quest, you have an army of people to get in your way and dance around in their own little boxes creating administrative hurdles and roadblocks.

    But it is run like pharma. No real selling.
