Received an offer - but the base isn’t much higher than I’m making now. Not sure the bonus potential is there either. I declined and am staying where I am.

 

Got my offer verbally today as well and told manager I will let them know tomorrow. Already decided to stay where I am as well. Absolutely disrespectful to be offering that amount with the industry experience, territory relationships and accomplishments I have.

 

Sorry to hear that the offers weren’t where you hoped they would be. For those of us who are still waiting can you say what the salary was?

 

I am confused. I am a rep in a city in the NE with 12 years experience and think 135k with bonus is pretty good. If it’s not, what do you think is fair for these positions? Serious question

 

It is very fair! There is only so much higher you can go in base. Sure you can get 155-160 base for a start up, but you are looking at a risk. Dupixent is a product that you could sell for many years and not worry about the patent expiring due to multiple indications. You made a great choice!

 

Damn bro. You got screwed. I’ve got 7 years experience and was offered 148k. Guess your not a good negotiator. Then again, my resume is stellar. I blew them away with my success in derm/asthma.

Has anyone been interviewed or hired WITHOUT biologics experience? Got Allergy and Derm experience though. How much base are they offering reps without biologics exp and is the bonus really at $35K??

Whole thing sounds like a headache. haven't heard jack so going to move on at this point.

 

Pretty sure everyone been hired. Start date is July 30th!

Do you really think that matters. It's not what you know, but who you know and where your allegiances are with. For God's sake, this is pharma sales not some highly regarded sophisticated industry.
