Considering a position in anti-infective division

Yes, I know that the division is fof sale. I'm currently not in a good situation. What advice can any of you give me about whether or not to join? Does it look like there's a buyer? If no buyer, do you think they'll dissolve this division?

 

Take the job. Worst case scenario is that Pfizer buys us and then lays us off based upon the acquisition agreement. Anti-Infectives are a highly challenging and clinically challenging disease state. You will grow from the knowledge and have a respectful disease state on your resume. No one knows what Pfizer would do with our team upon acquisition however, if you can prove yourself in this area of knowledge it will elevate your resume.
Fact is, some managers are good (RRT in Florida ) And some suck (Brian Quinn).
Either way, you will Grow which is rare in our industry. Good Luck

 

Ha, everything is for sale but the fact remains there are no buyers for the AI division. I don’t know where anyone gets the idea the Pfizer is interested, simply isn’t so. REPEAT: there is no buyer for AI or for WH for that matter.

Hospital antibiotic experience would be a positive on your resume. Worst case scenario is a quick separation package. There are some decent managers. It’s hit and miss. Quinn is the worst. I guess working for him would be the real worst case scenario. Good luck.

 

Thought some news would come out about us with earnings reported.

 

It did come out BS stated anti infectives division is priority 1 for sale, could just be a bunch of BS not spoke investors.
