Who is Mark going to bring on to replace and fix IT?

My guess is a loser from Novartis.

Those guys are celebrating over there because the jettisoned so many "no" risk averse people. Seems we take them.

The announcement said they are going EXTERNALLY. Good luck IT leadership team . get those resumes ready.

This change is 5 years overdue! Need more experienced crew to run disfunctional IT

I welcome the change. Can we please get the schmucks in I&I a laptop? It would cut down about 90% of our in-call volume and we could work on more important issues. You know a lap top, at that volume, would only cost about $300 times how every many reps exist. Or about equal to what we bill for I&I for 3 months of help.

Is there any reasonable rationale for a rep in today's world to not have access to a laptop?

Your leadership made that call! Not IT!

Advice for new CIO: get a new management team! One you got suck pretty badly half are not experienced the other half is retirement age

Any one know what happened to him,
    It was long overdue.
He came up With theme of "World class IT" and let third class people become managers and directors.
IT is full of Senior managers and directors, too many Chiefs and less Indians.
On top of that cronies abused power under him.
Too many good and graet peopel were let go and some jokers who cant even write proper english were made managers.
    Glad he is gone.

The dummy that runs IT infra , his dummy leaders in enterprise architechture, and his cronies from J&J /merck and the jokers who got promoted as senior managers are in trouble now.

Haha that is actually correct and accurate. FM is the worst of the IT leaders.

You know the saying who's policing the police? Same concept here. There are a few of us that know what everyone does. Good luck to the exiting CIO. Been fun watching you. :)

You have no idea how bad this man is. Toxic, zero vision, Corporate nepotism, collusion, list goes on. This man needs to actually retire and stop handing contracts to poor vendors just because they are friends. Worst CIO I've even seen in my career. Sadly, he made so much money he never needs to work again. Anyone looking for a CIO, stay clear of this bozo.

Jazz from Regeneron starts end of August/early Sept
Thanks HR for not keeping any secrets and CIOs directs who spread gossip and rumors.

Jazz in all seriousness please purge/refresh your leadership team . These assholes have done jack shit with talent, only cronies got moved up to leadership and add zero value. All they do is talk big words and stuff nobody understands. E.g. Information, strategies, big data, patients and bunch of bullshit else which sounds all nice but under the hood its all rotten and all a smoke.

Why dont you tell Jazz this, fire all cronies , depromote all jokers with Senios manager title's to Specialist

I can tell you that picking a bad CIO like Jazz will be another roller coaster ride for Celgene IT. This guy ripped Regeneron IT to shreads and after dozens of HR complaints of harassment and all sorts of unacceptable behavior decides to jump ship without improving much at Regeneron. If that’s all he has to offer to Celgene, get ready for the poison from this rotten able dressed up as a CIO. What a bad call by Celgene.

Do you know how long he worked here.Is he still working there? I heard they outsurced many IT functions and they are try to bring back some talent. Not sure if he did the offshoring or managed service deal
