What is the bonus structure is it capped or uncapped? Also is the car allowance reimbursed through expense report? $615.00 monthly car allowance seems low.

You can't find a car for $600 a month? Perhaps you don't need to be in sales. You need to be Richard Branson.

The Richard Branson wannabe is incorrect about finding a car for $600. They will tell you it is $600 but what they don’t tell you is that it is $600. before taxes. That’s right, no other company screws their reps and taxes their car allowance like income except BDSI. So it’s not $600 it’s more like $300 a month car allowance after taxes. The insurance, routine maintenance and upkeep winds up being on your dime. Most people here drive a piece of shit because of it.

The bonus is capped and force ranked.Every territory in the country has the same exact goal to achieve regardless of the territory location or formulary coverage. Doesn’t matter if the territory is in a large metro area like NY, Chicago, LA or if it’s in Podunk USA the goal is the same.

Here’s a question. Why does a man ask me to kill him and lie about dying when he’s not dying and he asks me to kill him?

Another question. When it comes to stewed prunes, are 3 enough? Are 4 too many?

How are benefits at BDSI? Medical dental all standard? Also, how does car allowance work? Does company pay for gas or just through mileage?

    Vacation policy for new hires?

Seems like the ‘potential’ for some good IC dollars is there, but how realistic is it?

Benefits are bad imo a little on the expensive side. Car allowance looks good on surface but it gets taxed similar to income so it basically comes out to around $300 a month but they do pay for gas. Don’t believe the comp plan they make it sound great in the interview process but it’s far from it

No Corp card. You get reimbursed but it’s slow. Plan on having an extra 5 grand available on your personal credit card to front for gas and quarterly budget. You get $100 for phone and internet but it’s taxed. There was some talk about them looking at mileage reimbursement using a tracking app or something

So all travel is done via your personal credit card? Then reimbursed by the company?

$100 for cell phone AND internet? That’s pretty low. The fact that it’s also taxed is just pathetic. And no reimbursement for mileage? Again, very cheap.

There is no meeting travel everything is done by conference call. I have been here almost 9 months and we have never had a meeting. Everything is done by conference call. There are people on my team I have never met. Territory travel for overnights, gas and your four thousand dollar budget for the quarter is on your credit card. No mileage and the 600 dollar car allowance is taxed so it’s actually only 300. My manager didn’t tell me in the interview that it was taxed so there is not enough to cover the extras like insurance, maintainence or tires you pay for those out of your own pocket. 100 taxed for internet and phone. Medical and dental is expensive for PPO. Work life balance is difficult because of 24/7 work mentality. Managed care is a mine field of paperwork for the office staff despite our drug being preferred. We work our office staffs to death for our PA approvals. I babysit ever script to make sure it goes through. It’s exhausting. For what they demand of us the salary is low. This company lives quarter to quarter so if you are out of work or looking to get into pharma and can live on the low base salary while covering BDSI’s expenses with your own cash then come join us.
