Can someone fill me in on the starting salary and information about the benefit? Also,
Does Aerie off a company car or car allowance?

Doesn't matter, Aerie is on cash balance life support. Product launch is tracking for a FAILURE. Check out Shire/Takeda for a position.

Now that is funny! Takeda is going to be cutting again soon!

hey shire losers. We know your upset that Aerie rejected you! Please stay off our board. You’re clearly upset that we didn’t want you. Takeda doesn’t even want you. You have no business being in Eyecare. Take your negativity elsewhere! I know sun will kick your ass. You won’t have a job soon. Always remember, you have never proven efficacy with your shitty product. Xiidra is less efficacious than OTC products. It’s an over priced joke! All the doctors know it too!

There is literally not enough $$ in the bank to make this job bearable. Don’t do it!

Xiidra will be a $400 million drug by year end. How are y'all doing with your launch? Bahahahahahahaha! For your info, I was offered a job at Aerie and turned it down due crappy products and pipeline. Too bad for you.

Oh yeah, well I was offered the CEO position with Aerie, but I turned it down..Yeah..Yeah..And I was offered the job of King of England, too, but I turned it down as well...Yeah..Yeah!

Shire just cut a bunch of reps last week and Takeda will probably dump the rest of the OBU in the street soon. Great call on turning down other jobs. Compared to that Shit Show, life is pretty good here. Part of what's dragging us down are the reps we hired from that Short Bus you call an "ophthalmic business" at Shire. They don't know shit about glaucoma. If you think that dumpster juice known as Xiidra will hit $400 million you must be drinking it.

Your maturity level hovers around the level a very poorly behaving 13 year old.
Keep your silliness coming. It reveals your innermost self.
Which does not appear to be very stable or healthy as your posts indicate.

Yo expert. How many carbon atoms in a prostaglandin and give me one good example of a PG produg! Lets see what you know about Glaucoma and Glaucoma drugs.

they don’t know anything! All they know is they sell a drug that is compareable to artificial tears....

    Glaucoma? wow....that's really technical.

try selling oncology, cardiology, neurology, etc products. Makes ophthalmic sales look like elementary school.

Yes, my friend. All very complex disease states to sell in. But you see, it don’t mean a hill of beans cause the med onc thinks you’re a moron and you’re relegated to tumor boards with the rest of your compadres who are all scrambling to talk to the same docs. Whatcha gonna do, promote your immunotherapy? Heh, even Merck has TV ads for Keytruda.
I’ll take glaucoma & nice eye docs over onc land any day. Even for less money. Cause these days, a rep’s a rep no matter what fancy pants drug you’re peddling. The sales model is the same. Don’t like it? Think you can do better? Go sell the Da Vinci System for Intuitive Surgical. See how you do in that kind of sales environment.

Can anyone provide base salary range?

Trust me. You don't want to work here. There has never been a promotion here (except for the home office, where new jobs breed like rabbits while the sales force has its head stuck in a vice).

If there is an opening in your area it means the previous rep needed a mental cleanse from this place, and there must be a local scenario that someone found intolerable. This place is run by some of pharma's biggest idiots that have ever wasted earth's oxygen.

This is true. It’s so bad they’ve had trouble filling the open positions. Since when is a pharma job, esp eyecare, a difficult position to fill?!? That should tell you what you need to know. Keep looking.

Wow those comments really have me concerned, so why do you think the launch will fail? I can't elaborate much or it may give away things I've been discussing, also curious about management departures I've heard about.
