May those who are no longer with us find gainful employment.

They offed the weak links. Happening in waves, until we have the right fit. 17% growth week over week or else.

Aerie is filled with toxic leadership. Most miserable place on the planet to work...

Does that mean Judy and Gary are gone?!? Wouldn’t this be Gary’s third company to fire him? I know, I know.......... wishful thinking.

We are going to keep driving around all day until we are all fired. Outta nowhere a group will get clipped each week. They think the next drug will launch itself

A dark cloud has descended upon Aerie.
The once clear sharp vision of the eagle's eyes that flew from its Aerie/Nest is now hazy and blurry.
Maybe the eagle needs to see an eye care professional.
Someone make an appointment for the eagle with Dr. Lewis.

Work? The whole point of pharma sales is to stay home, eat bon bons, watch TV all day, fake calls & collect a paycheck.

    Geez, lighten up!

Not true. Many good people were let go and it wasn't about their performance, It all boils down to managed care coverage and in many territories it is absent. You may be next so show some some dignity.

    who all were let go?

Exactly!...Every rep in every pharma company selling any drug is only as good as his/her managed care coverage; everyone knows it, but a lot of people won't admit it -especially the reps who happen to be selling well covered drugs (or in a "manged care friendly area" for a typically poorly covered drug), and whose numbers are "performing" well despite a lack of personal work ethic..

Some lucky plucky reps have physicians in their territory who are paid consultants for the company, who got the drug off the ground before they were even hired. The reps who were just let go have not had time for their area plans to adapt and despite their best efforts were ranked low.

The culture here is a toxic, constantly threatening environment that refuses to acknowledge these obvious realities. Your manager cant save you. If they want you gone you are gone.

I thought they hired the best of the best out of so many applicants?

Hmm, sales projections made before reps were on boarded were missed because they were way off the mark.
Management Action Step: read sales force riot act and demand 10 calls/day, etc.

Managed care hindering poorly estimated sales projections. Outside of sales reps’ control.
Management Action Step: shit can almost 10% of the field sales force.

    What’s next???

I bet it’ll be a nice holiday gift!

This is just a sad..... I can’t believe the load of crap they gave us and now this! Reps fired
    Managers Fired
Managers put on PIP’s and for what.........5 and half months worth of data!!!!

Where is the Vision at now Aerie?
Fire Gary, Fire Judy push them out of the eagles nest.

They need to fire whoever made these ridiculous sales projections. Why was managed care coverage not taken into consideration? What type of idiot thinks that every territory is the same and that there aren't individual challenges? They claim a 3rd party company made the "goals". There is NO WAY any 3rd party analytics company would give them such unattainable, unrealistic goals.

Whoever strategized this launch "goal" and doesn't understand how this market uptake works and thinks it should grow 17% per week with no part D coverage needs to be marched out of here immediately. They are so stupid and clueless they are reason the gene pool needs a lifeguard!

This was probably planned all along before the field force was hired. The plan? Hire a sales force to push netarsudil and get the buzz going for it and then once latanoprost/netarsudil fdc gets FDA approved, put the company up for sale, let upper management reap the millions and leave the field sales pawns high and dry.

Come on now. Does Vince look like the kind of fella that cares about anyone but himself? Greed and Power and High IQ have killed countless millions over the last 2 centuries...

You'll just be a piece of a tiny part of a grain of sand in the scheme of things in Aerie Land.

But Vince will continue to drink his high end booze and enjoy his fancy mansion/compound. Probably with his own armed security detail. Seems like that kind of fella to me.

    For us?
Hmm, is there really any pharma company that gives an eff about their sales force anymore?
