Ahh yes, can always count on CP for an exaggeration in both directions

    Rock star - NO

Forced Out at Teva - NO

Top of Rankings - NO, lost the Southeast every year

Good Hiring - NO, inherited winners from the previous manager and all had less success with him

Hardware - NO, and NOT being paid to stay proved that hardware is quite a bit more than 2 wins in 13 years

Conclusion - Average which is accurate for eveyone’s 4th or 5th choice

    Signed - KD

Was told you need speciality pharmacy experience. Give me a break with this. I have it but it is not a deal breaker. Missing out on some great sales people.

It is going to be a buy and bill specialty injectable product you idiot. Most gen pharma reps have no idea what this market entails let alone be able to navigate their way through all the metrics of getting the sale.

You really are stupid if you believe this! The company is making a huge mistake not hiring reps with addiction experience. If they think sublocade is failing because their reps don’t have BNB experience they are sadly mistaken. Hiring addiction professionals with great contacts in the field is the only way this product could be successful. They could help do damage control on he awful perception Braeburn currently has as a company!

Plus it still may never get approved.

Indivior’s main problem is they put someone with NO pharmaceutical experience, NO Specialty Pharmacy experience and NO charisma in charge of the launch. Won’t be hard to do better.

Is Syneos staffing the sales force for Braeburn, or is the sales force all contract? Or will Braeburn have reps that are supported by Syneos? If it's all contract, not a good sign at all.

Hope all the rare disease GSK reps can figure it out!! It is a mistake not hire reps with addiction experience & contacts. If this launch doesn't go well...it is over

Braeburn is doing their own staffing and it’s all completely full time. No contracts

BNB the Pharma Term of the 2010's. As if this is something that has uniquely been invented and only a handful of people can do it. A short time ago there was no BNB and the Pharm Industry had to train all reps on what it meant and how to accomplish it. In the purest sense of the term it's actually high level relationship building inside the account (MDs offices). The Pharma Industry for years sent legions of Reps into these offices not to build long standing relationships but to deliver a message. Sure there were many Reps that had good relationships (and many of you will say "Your MDs love you") but not the high level relationships that are needed to really make a difference. Think of the number of Reps that PFE and MRK had tripping over each other and pissing offices off with the same message month after month, not adding any value to any MD or the office. This is a majority of the reason offices have shut down in 2018. Now, these so called BNBs need those relationships back to accomplish the ultimate goal of actually selling something since for years and currently daily pharma jobs are nothing more than a customer service job w/ a fancy title. The Managers during Big Pharm days demanded "Sense of Urgency!"

Which leads me to my next point. KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, KAM, this term really been dumb down by the Pharma Industry. Back in the day a KAM actually called on the Head Quarters of Pharm distributors, McKesson, Cardnail and others. Along w/ Hospital Pharm Departments which in 2018 most are not accessible anymore. Taking big orders, scheduling seasonal buys, informing PharmDs of new developments and much much more. Now, in Pharm land in 2018 a KAM is in charge of a few opinion leaders that the host company believes can move market share along w/ 75 other MDs that are worthless. A KAM's job is nothing more than establishing amazing rapport with the entire office and the MD so the sales job of BNB is actually accomplished. Back in the day a KAM needed to establish rapport w/ an entire company and department. Back in the day a KAM was a promotion from Rep Level, now it's entry level or they are calling it a promotion from daily pharma rep to KAM which don't kid yourselves it's not. You are still going into the same offices w/ the same average rapport trying to now actually sell something.

These companies trying to hire BNB are looking for unicorns where they should be looking for people w/ strong people skills that actually have KEY ACCOUNT Exp. The Pharma Industry circa 2010 and beyond dosen't produce the strong people skills actually needed to be a real KEY Account Manager since they were primarily groomed to deliver a message and samples. Now before you throw stones at me know that there are a lot of good people out there in BNB land and I know some do very well. However the super majority struggle because they don't have the people experience nor the Management experience behind them. The thing is a real KAM dosn't want to deal w/ the hassles of a Manager that dosen't know what a KAM can actually accomplish or do because the Manager lacks the skill set to Manage a KAM.

But I digress, why are the skill needed for BNB not really there? It because the chain of command has been dumbed down too! In 2018 the new title for a District Manager is Regional Manager, so what sounds like a promotion from the 1990's of Pharma is now nothing but a lateral w/ a larger area. The new so called Regional Managers were DMs during the hey day of Pharma so their skill level is NOT building Excellent People Skills as well but that of how to deliver a mass message to a universe of 125 MDs w/ a sense of urgency the real killer of rapport.

You see where I'm going w/ this? The model will never be perfected or implemented on a high level because the people behind the model although they are good Managers or Representatives but they lack the skills to take BNB to the next level. This is not necessaily a job w/ a sense of Urgeny because you cannot walk into an MDs office and tell them they want to buy this Med because your company believes it's cutting edge. You have to be more personally sophisticated and tactful w/ your people skills. This process takes longer to accomplish but your Regionals will be pushing for the exact opposite. Old Pharm ways w/ Lip Stick on it and a fresh new title.

What a freaking dumpster fire. This company is doomed already.

These small companies can be wonderful to work for but it all depends on the expectations of leadership, their tone to the sales force and how hubris they are w/ their usual one product. Of course every company thinks their companies product is the best but reality is a whole different matter. So hopefully Management is in the business of building bridges w/ employees and customers and not being unrealistic from the start.

What was the purpose of this? To pout that u didn’t get picked so the industry is making a grave mistake. If you talk like this in an interview or worse in an office I can see why u didn’t get selected. This rambling soap box of a post was idiotic. Take a breathe and reevaluate your life choices

Point was your company is missing out on a lot of good people because they have a rigid hiring criteria for a drug that is going to average at best and a sales process that is extremely trainable like BNB. They would be better off hiring hungry people wanting to learn and do a good job than over paying for people that allegedly already knows this so called BNB. So when the new experienced BNB people find out the drug is not going to be a cake walk or is not going to sale like they were told it would the turnover will continue. No Loyalty in your system.

Just pay me more than my last company and I'll give it a try for a year and if dosen't work out...Next.

    1. You’re an idiot and unhirable based on your two posts. 2. Your attitude is terrible. 3. You’re clearly a job jumper just happy with a year. 4. I doubt u have talent to begin with. 5. You’re not welcome so move on. Pretty sure when u walked into the interview the company said the same thing u ended your rant with “next”

Wow. Life choices? Seriously? That's amusing. The proof will be in the relaunch of product. And by the way, didn't it already fail once w/ a contract force? So whom is making bad choices? So now you are are going to retool and re-Attitude the sales force, that ought to work out. It will be fun watching now while all your employees bitch here on CP as Management will OPUD consistently, again.
