He's a dick. All smiles on stage but a dick from my sources in Princeton. Many are fleeing or out on disability. Nobody is left. Rexulti has nothing beyond its Bipolar indication and there is no LAi version anytime in the next 5 years. Maintena booster is not happening and a 2 month version is still being debated. By the time they decide Janssen will have a 6 month injection. Oh they are also thinking about an auto injector. Nice idea but won't happen before 2024. Keep selling that long term efficacy. Zzzzzzzz.

People are in denial! I tried to ask about our pipeline and quoted FDA trials websites. People keep saying "it's in the works"! There's no filing of any Rex LAI... show me!!!

Rex will stall out. Lack of samples, piss poor managed care, and Lundbeck reps taking janitorial jobs just to get out. One Lundbeck rep I know has an average of 4 hours of windshield time a day! The will be no Rex LAI for years to come, if ever. The BP indication will little effect. We have no pipeline, and people are trying to get out as well. I will definitely be gone by SPRING!

you must be mad. Otsuka has never been better. We have great products making hundred of thousands of dollars a year. We have the Japanese leadership extremely interested in what we do. For instance in the last couple of years we heard from them at least 0 times, which is consistent. We have a culture of doing things differently and being innovative. How many other companies give their sales reps the opportunity to polish turds every day. I for one think Otsuka is a great place, underachieving is so under rated.

Otsuka is an absolute joke. Any place thst has to continually talk about culture and ambiguity is a clear sign they have no clue what the hell they are doing. Everything covered up with a band aid. Senior leadership has never sold alai or am and are so detached from reality it’s pathetic. Nothing is ever proactive. The managers are a disaster. No clue and just trying to check boxes. The micro managing is worse than any primary care company. Am is actually a good drig and should be a front runner. The fact that aristada is actually taking share shows how pathetic senior leadership is. They’ve mismanaged this product from the start and lost so much ground. Otsuka is the epitome of the golden handcuffs. Good salary car 401k people just hang around without realizing there are much better opportunities out there.

The culture at Otsuka is Chaos! Unfortunately, options are limited, but I am actively looking to leave. This has not been an inspiring company to work for and there is a lack of leadership.

If you’re smart you will leave while you still have some dignity and a shred of independent thought.

I’ll be here for another decade. Love this place! Thank you Otsuka.

Another delusional lifer. Keep injecting yourself with that bs jisso shugi nonsense. You will only be there as long as you are checking the appropriate boxes, meeting metrics and not getting challenging status quo with independent thought.

If you are not in the Renal division, you work for a completely different company. Metrics, box checking, trying to explain to upper management why things aren't going to plan when we compete against our own drug and entrenched adversaries with far better marketing and sales strategies.
Renal cleaned out some managers and sales directors that pushed the unachievable quotas that caused dozens of our top people to leave the company. The retail part of our compensation was downplayed so many of the top people received less bonus, even though that was what was driving business. The stupid depth trackers that were 100% made up BS were were required by filling out a spread sheet. The VP, NSD, and others responsible for this example of what is wrong with our industry are either fired or in the neuroscience division.
When Otsuka brings upper management in from Big Pharma, this is what you get. I was one of the ones who left when my bonus paid out at 80% and I was one of the top performers. I wish I could come back but only if it is in the Renal side. I'm DONE with neuro!

Kudos to you for getting out and finding your own identity. But why would you ever want to come back? It is so much better everywhere else.

The quality of reps directly mirrors the quality of leadership at otsucka. The reason you are all hanging around for 5+ years is because you don’t have the talent to survive a real interview for a real sales position. All you people do is expense reports, completely irrelevant elearning, and box checking. Good luck transferring those skills to a real job.

This company is not a specialty company it is one step above a contract company - the focus is the Ready Now program. Everyone is excited about launching the next cohort - the DM is an egomaniac and self absorbed buffoon. Kim Martin as part of the senior leadership team is a huge disappointment and fails to lead or inspire, but she is very excited about the next Ready Now cohort/

The pipeline is dry and the purchase of other companies may present some short term wins, but after 3 years with the company I am actively looking to move on. There is no sense of pride in working for this company that continually fails to deliver on the promises it makes. This is not a healthy workplace.

You don’t realize how unhealthy otsucka is till you leave. The issue is all these talentless buffoons that stay 5+ years, handcuffed to a 6 figure paycheck with no
bonus potential. There are tons of sales job out there with better salary, more ic potential and less bullshit compliance. Everyone shpuld be looking to get out while you still have 1/2 a brain.

You won’t because they will lay you off for age unless you can finagle your way into management.

ready now is an hr creation which speaks to the bag of shit it is. they can try to put lipstick on the pig but its still a pig. waste of time and money hello Japan you are throwing money out the window you are basically training reps who leave after 1-2 years for a new gig. duh. RJ has his head so far up MC ass it is disgusting. place really is a big joke.
