When I first started working here, all I heard about was the culture is so great. The culture is so unique. The people all care about each other. It is like a family here.

Who agrees this is a bunch of lies?

It took me two years to really pinpoint it, but this place is full of C list employees in the pharma industry.

There is a group of people that have been working here for so long, they have no idea what it is like in the real world.

Leadership selects the same people to lead projects and be in the spotlight.

Hopefully I can escape soon after bonus. Stocks are certainly not worth sticking around for.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Seems like the same old fools are leading every failed project. Just keep your head down and do your job.

You guys/gals should feel lucky to work here. Afterall as our former sales leader used to say....its easier to get into an Ivy League school than Alkermes. :D

I think you’re on to something. Seems like the people that have moved up in this company often times aren’t the best candidate, just the person that has been at Alkermes the longest. Or, recently, if you’ve been at Astellas.

when the stocks were not trash, I hoped they would sell. Now if the company is sold, I would get hardly anything.

Astellas should take us over. Could not be worse. They would be stupid to do it though.

Can’t we just get rid of anyone that has worked here longer than 5 years? Including Pops.

it was planted years ago when the Aristada and Biv teams came to be. It started to sprout but then it became apparent that Sr Leadership was not going to devote the time needed to make it grow. Instead there were unreasonable goals, finger pointing, a lack of willingness to tell emperor Pops the truth about where the market was in terms of accepting Viv and Aristada and here we are. The culture never took hold or grew. It’s dormant waiting for leaders to water it and fertilize it. But it’s rwally too late as once a garden dies and goes
To weeds it’s hard to get it back. Probably time to plow it under and just move on.

You crack me up. You think because you write these sassy comments, they tear down the other posts. You are just a blind dummy if you don’t see the truth in these posts and if you think the culture is still a great place to work. You must be one of those old timers that kisses ass the leadership team and gets a promotion every year. Stupid! Oh wait, see if you can hear this. STUPID!

I actually don’t think the culture is great here. Don’t think it’s good either. I make the best of things when I can. I was simply pointing out how funny it is that you feel the need to go all caps. HOPE THAT HELPS, IDIOT!

The culture here is so great. I love working with people who have no experience except for working at Alkermes or they have been snatched by the body snatchers and now think this is a good place to work.

I love the old leadership that has no clue what they are doing.

I live for HR with their outdated policies and the way they turn their head to anything bad that happens. The old lady running HR should have retired 10 years ago.

IT still thinks it is 2003 and can barley hold our infrastructure together. Who runs IT? No one?

R&D does a great job of really getting nothing done. Great results and our pipeline has a bright future.

Communications does a wonderful job with the Intranet. It is so new and user-friendly. Your communication skills are that of a four year old.

Sales does a great job pretending to work while they are really at home watching daytime TV.

Wow, I love it here. Hope you do to.

Sorry you didn't get the job. Don't worry, it's not completely your fault. I'm sure you had great qualifications. We just reduced our expansion due to 5461 not getting approved. Give us another shot after 3831 gets approved. Until then, go spew your anger and self loathing somewhere else.

I just found a job posting on LinkedIn and after reading all these comments, I would be stupid to apply. You folks all sound miserable. You all need psychological treatment.

Is it still an awesome culture after the Ruling from the FDA was received? Will it still be an awesome culture when you stock tanks on Monday? I bet not.

Actually one just need talk to current employees who will validate what’s posted on this site. It’s not your typical CP BS or fake news. Sadly, in this case it’s accurate. Run, run and run as fast as you can. UBER is a better opportunity!

Big Pharma Jim Robinson is flushing the culture down the drain and adding expense after expense. May be Lee Ann should be the new CFO with all her penny pinching.
