Well, maybe if you hadn't slept through your classes, or skipped school, and actually made the effort to study, and worked hard to get good grades, and actually graduated from High School, and attained a postsecondary education, you wouldn't have to work a commission only job..

Well, first of all, you have to have at least an Undergraduate degree to get into Pharma. Secondly, I make twice as much in base salary alone than the average school teacher; plus commissions, so I make well over 6 figures. I also have a company car, and an expense account; I work about 30 hours a week, and I basically get a 3 day weekend every week, so what the hell is your point again?..

I honestly don’t care if they fire me...at this point they’d be doing me a favor. Management is so short sighted they think firing people will drive others to perform. Sorry, you are incorrect. I know of at least one company that will hire a rep even if they only have a high school degree provided that they have several years of sales experience. That company would be Amgen.

 

Not true. I’ve been a top performer everywhere I’ve worked and I’m in the top 30 here. While that’s not great I feel it’s decent with the shitty coverage I’m dealing with. This place sucks and you know it. How’s that Kool Aid taste? Are you mixing it with vodka?

Incorrect. Many people get curious as to what is really going on here. Its not like your manager will tell you anything other than the company line. When the higher ups are all cashing in millions of dollars of stock and we drive sales regardless of our coverage and get treated like crap and get put on performance plans and fired even the top reps are very wary.
