How many Pernix Reps were laid off today without a clue??

Not sure how many, but HR contacted Some Pernix reps today and told them this would be their last day to work for this company due to their territory being dissolved!!! Be ware people, and start job hunting!! Sinking ship!!!

LC got 2 checks today she called and told people layoffs are tomorrow. I guess she got mad because she was originally supposed to stay.

 

She never thought she was staying. NOBODY isn’t looking for a job.

 

It’s over.

 

Whole salesforce was laid off. No Q4 bonus and no severance.

 

Was anyone surprised by this!! It has been on the radar since 2016

 

No remorse. No thank you. Cut off car insurance TODAY- hey sorry, not sure how you’ll pick up your kids from school - don’t drive the car, but hey “you can keep your printer.”
Not even a day of severance. No Q4 bonus. I’ve never seen anything this bad.

Oh and everyone in HO still has a job with the exception of JH’s team and RB. They kept MS over LC? Hilarious.

It’s especially great that they had record high weeks recently for sales.

No. You can fed ex our 401k info to our door as well as cobra info- neither of which was mentioned.

They got rid of a lot of people in HO. GW kept all of his finance people of course. SC only one they kept from sales OPS, all other depts have been cut and some will be staying to clean up this mess then they will be let go.

 

Not surprised by this Left awhile ago as I saw writing on the wall when they bought Sedor in. Hopefully, they have the $ expenses to date. Keep the Ipad & printer...U are not getting severance or bonus, is what they should say. Oh well-everyone was warned with previous layoffs & stock price. Not to mention they cancelled Presidents trip

 

Pernix stole vacation pay, bonus pay and the WARN act 60 day notice (or pay). Keep car and other assets as criminal evidence you must hold onto, since CEO, etc. knew this was all coming.

They could get sued...I mean they have no money...oh wait they do have money...all the fun stuff like fancy cars and fat salaries and stock that was already sold knowing this was coming...GJ JS and JV all have money...they can be sued?!?!? Either way the WARN ACT is real!!!

guys- read the WARN act. We do not qualify. They were smart. There are several outs in the act and pernix qualifies. Stomp your feet all you want but they aren’t on the hook legally.

Ethically they are giant pieces of crap.

 

HO was down to bare bones. They didn’t get rid of “a lot” of people. It’s JH BP RB FH K and LC - not paying severance and yanking cars without even a day to make arrangements is disgusting.

 

Wow, today was surreal. The call was horrible, but I must say, GJ actually sounded so much more upbeat than he was on Chairman’s Club call! I had to shake my head at the end of the call this morning and ask myself “did that just happen?” I knew something was coming but had no idea they would screw us as bad as they did ! Loved the last part of the call....... and by the way ..... no severance, no Q4 bonus, end of call... click!!!!
