Is it true we just hired a new director named Brock Turner? or is he a DM?

In my region the brown-nosing female reps are already planning a big reception for him. If he's white and he's in management, then he's a hero to them.

I'm just glad we don't have to work tomorrow. Or Friday. And that Tuesday is a half day. Wednesday off. Thursday a half day, because I need to get expense reports done.

Gotta love working at this company. I wouldn't leave for anything. Summers pretty much off, then work until October, off in November for Thanksgiving, then who wants to work before the Holidays? After that is preparation for the POA 1 meeting, and then after that we need a few weeks off to absorb all we learned there. April is vacation month. And in May it gets really nice up here, so we need to get ready for summer.

    Hi Marti!

I'm already with JNJ on the device side. Can anyone elaborate the differences between the oncology vs derm/Immunology side? Payscale and working conditions. Ive made close to 325k yearly the last few years but the 24 hour on call schedule over the last 7 years is really dragging on me. Ive heard 200k is a good baseline in pay scale but I also see that Inventiv/Quintiles reps are being hired to drive down costs. Any insight would be helpful for someone like me trying to step down from the day to day grind in device.

well killer, the oncology reps sell oncology drugs, and the derm/immunology reps sell derm/immunology drugs... hope this helps.

I haven’t worked this like a real job ever. My manager treats it like a pt job so why shouldn’t I. The Regional knows it and doesn’t care. I’m stuffing money into retirement, building a nice pension and enjoying my life less the 4x a year ride a longs and meetings. Why anyone would ever leave this dream job is beyond reason unless ur an old timer getting pushed out. Best thing is MH is onboard with the whole thing. No layoffs, no downsizing, just input the calls. Loving life and you should be 2.

I speak to our internal recruiters about pay scales and some of these managerial jobs barely even make it above 200k. The rep is in the 180s maxed out. These are not great jobs. If you were pulling 225-275 with that schedule you are talking now. Sub 200k and its nothing.
