Layoffs? Acquisition?

Does anyone know what is going on? Rumor says Encore is about to buy us. Still no NSM scheduled. Anyone think we’ll be laid off April 1st?

 

Its all true, stop working, they are assholes to us they deserve what they get in return. Take time to start looking for a job!

Well if it's Encore looking to buy you, good luck. Another bunch of long time Derm folks running that company that have a reputation of building up a company and then selling it and moving on to start another one. Every time with millions in their pockets and who cares about the salesforce. I wish you all the best, but does not sound good to me.

 

I heard they are soliciting offers on both just to see what they might get. Person who told me wasn’t sure how serious they are. Guess it depends what they get.

Sounds like some finance or BD job justification exercise.

 

whole place is for sale. DRL wants/needs out of the branded space. That's why derm products have been sold off for the last 2-3 years and why Neuro nasal hasn't launched yet. They don't care if a company buys the whole package or just the products, they will get everything off the books by the beginning of fy20

Sad end to what was once a great place to be. But some people over promised at the beginning and they course corrected with a team that didn't know how to interact with kols. So bad to worse and now it's pretty much done. Can't blame any one person, but F Garth and Dushyanth because they're selfish tools who think they're smarter and more adept but aren't even close.

 

DS and GT think they're smarter than they are and will gladly blame others for the sinking ship. Between the two of them you have a half ass sales rep at best. MD will likely live on within DRL for all the supposed money he saved them but he's the epitome of what's fundamentally wrong with the company - making noise for the sake of making noise and not acknowledging that, in general, everyone sucks.

Do we know when Promius will announce that it sold? Friday? Monday? Was it to Encore?

 

Why would they suddenly start announcing things? How many people have left without an email notification? Wasn't the last communication on Zenatane three years ago and it was that there was a backorder? Promius sucks at communication. DRL sucks at communication. The whole place is an f-ing joke.

 

Does anyone know anything? How long would they let us keep the company cars for? Everyone get your expenses in and forward your emails.. They’d have to at least tell us that we’re laid off

Hopefully everyone is looking and not working! Just wait for the call to stay by your phones! It’s going to happen soon! Everything changed when GT came on board!

 

People like DS and many others who had ZERO experience in Pharma went on to lead portfolio that they barely understood. Just imagine, DS never went even for a day to a physician as a salesman, and he becomes marketing head. There were others who neither worked in their lifetime on development or sales team, but they became functional heads. And then, in their R&D, someone who never ever entered in a formulation lab becomes formulation head. In fact entire top team was a club that kissed each other's bottom, while insulting, harassing, and throwing away people who had given years of their career to this unit. In fact the option to sell the business has long been on the table...just they were not sure if anyone would buy it. Now with a few approvals, this could be the best time for DRL to cash out.

The Promius leadership cabal has been more successful at obtaining funding and support for themselves, from Dr. Reddy's Corporate and BoD, than they were at running the business and promoting products. It is very sad.

 

Any word yet? Used to work there some years back. Remember some good folks...hate to see this happen to anyone. Guess it's how things go these days.

 

Not everyone has received an email regarding a shipment from Dr. Reddy's.. Does anyone know what is in that package or what this means?
