Recruiter was clear on age discrimination. We discussed the advantages of hiring a rep, with Derm experience, launch experience, sales numbers, physician relationships, etc vs just a new college grad.

The sad thing is, there is nothing you can do about this blatant age discrimination. The only thing we can do is get on this board and “shame” these assholes until they change their ways. Keep it up! Contact AARP and keep shaming these nasty ageist companies!

I federal lawsuit is a strong possibility. The reason they do it is they think nothing can be done. Because it is so blatant; the proof is there for a successful lawsuit.

Agreed. The age discrimination paired with off label promotion and reps taking docs out to lunch are quite a few reasons to bring up a lawsuit...

maybe you should take a look at the roster. It’s full of reps from all ages. Reps with 2-25 years of experience. Maybe you got denied because you have 20 years of experience, but no wins.

You are an idiot! This is more then one person bringing this up. It is many people. I for one will compare your “wins” with mine anytime. I will win hands down.

Nope! You’re the dope looking on the outside that flunked a phone screen! We have an average of 11+ years of experience across the nation!

that meeting was bullshit. Corporate has no idea how to sustain long term success and we had no wins on managed care. Getting calls from offices that these pit wipes are $500. WTF! This is a sinking ship and I’m not willing to wait another 2 years for “lebri” to maybe get approved or maybe fail like the acne drug. Derms don’t give a fuck about this drug or company and reps are so desperate they are taking docs illegally to lunches and dinner....

Can’t believe we wasted all that money on a BS guitar hero meeting. How about investing in our pipeline instead of throwing money around like we’re a blockbuster drug!

Lol couldn’t have said it better myself. Don’t think I can carry this stupid wipe by itself for more than a year... also no united win? We are dog meat!!!

Yeah exactly. Where did you work where you launched a drug and had a United win? Exactly. No where. They block everything for up to a year, dipshit.

Take a look where you came from before you came here. Chances are that company is for sale, gone or selling a branded generic.

Man up and get the job done, stop being a loser and wanting everything to fall onto your lap.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit! Someone should throw a tent over this circus! Either that or shut it down! Sounds like the latter might be here soon.
