One last word before I go is a simple thank to all that contribute in this thread. From this thread, I get to understand that CLD launch would be slow and far below expected, that there is tension and nervousness of uncertainty among people working here, that chronic ITP off label usage might already be promoted (and a few good informative pieces about off label promotion)..

You really don’t understand cafe pharma do you?

You mean in the way that cafe pharma is place for bitching, making up stories and gossiping? I totally get it but still after filtering useless rants, there are some hidden gems that need your own judgement, especially when comparing with timeline of events. As an investor, I would love to hear also other stories than what was told at PRs, conference calls. Thanks..

Just lost another TBM with many more looking. NOTHING was said or done at the meetings to stop the exodus and it seems their answer was a new detail piece and to write a new business plan! Everyone knows that once the price is slashed for ITP the CLD indication is not viable and will be given to Salix.

I think sales have proven that CLD isn't viable.

Is everyone jumping for joy that they left a decent gig to come to Dova???

I am!! I left a pretty decent job and got a significant base salary increase from approximately 140K to 152K at Dova. I have resigned and picked up another big increase a year later from 152K to 165K now.

I also expanded my call point experience to include IR, Hepatology. Also nice to have Startup in my experience.

In addition, the folks leaving have continued to impress me as they’re leaving for high level jobs in this industry. It’s nice that I’ve expanded my network with high performing folks who have also shown the ability to get some of the highest paying jobs in the industry.

Usually the kind of question that you just asked is posed by someone who did not get the job originally and is trying to poke the ribs of those who did get the job. If that’s not the case with you, it would be nice for you to elaborate on your motivation for posing the question.

Close. I am someone who was initially interested but actually went to docs to get opinions and while it sounded good it was not going to generate much business and that a better competitor was arriving soon. Both proved to be correct so I stayed put with no regrets. And yes I am making fun of you losers who clearly did NOT do your homework.

it didn’t help that they brought in a bunch of clowns from BMS. BN and his cast of laughable lackeys didn’t help

There’s actually not a “better” competitor. Its just they have corporate support that isnt absolutely embarrassing like ours.

Now they have Gilead ones and its looking just like what we had at Gilead with sky high quotas, sky high drug prices that kill our credibility with our customers, and extreme micro management like daily rankings and new business plans every time you go to a damn meeting!

They have been asking some TBM's if they want to be in the new gi or oncology sales forces. So much for honesty and transparency and "earning our trust"! If you were not one of the ones asked, you now know exactly where you stand!

This is what happens when you get into bed with Salix.

What does that mean? Has nothing to do with Salix. It's either GI or Hem/Onc with Dova.

The super micro management is a Salix thing.

This does not pass the smell test. I’ve passed on a lot of opportunities in my 20+ years. Not once have I felt compelled to go back and talk trash to those who took the job. That kind of behavior is reserved SOLELY for those who did NOT get the job. Nice try.

If you were really in a great spot, you’d most likely be content enough. But you were passed up. If not, do tell us all which outfit you landed at.

Wrong- Salix has absolutely no control over what we do or have to do- they are a puppet and we have them by the balls contractually.
This micromanagement is all on Dova - but I cant micromanage reps that I dont have because they quit.

If IZ didn't talk to you personally at the meeting about joining the new sales force, i wouldn't bother going through the insulting process of applying for ITP. He made it very clear that some animals are more equal than others here!
