DSP2 reps to be cut?

I’ve heard this idea floated out there. Anyone know if it’s true? Would they simply eliminate one position across the board? In the past it doesn’t seem like that was how it was done....more a factor of performance and geography?

 

i may be wrong but i think sanofi cut an entire praluent pc sales force a couple years ago?

 

Yes they did , also clipped all nurse educators last year. Cut something like 15 molecules they were working on . Sanofi will do whatever they want . Just remember to not use logic as there's none with Sanofi

 

Yes, Whole selling teams cut in the past. Look at current call plan HO pushed out, main Soliqua writers moved to SP2. Wouldn't surprise me if PC2's are gone.

 

Oh please... like this company does anything in a manner that makes sense. Does anyone have any REAL insight into what and when something may or may not occur? I still think we are worrying people with just a bunch of opinions. Where’s Inside 55?

 

By end of Q2, RBLs and ABLs to be downsized 1st. Current ABLs only managing 6-8 reps when they should be managing 12-14. Field cuts come after.

Interesting. I wonder how far in advance they announce these intentions, or will we just find out one day this summer? Sounds like no mention will be made on next week’s PC and Diabetes call.

 

There have been a few posts that say otherwise, some on other threads. I’m not talking opinion. There have been some that sound like inside info. I know they have to be careful what they say.

 

They will cut the higher paid reps, reps that are still here with pension, and those that receive a poor rating on YE.

Why do you think PCP 2's and not PCP 1's to be cut?

 

You are only a number to Sanofi, but those are not the ones that matter...its your salary. Between the pcp1/2 in your pod the higher salary is fired. Its as simple as that.

 

They said no cuts to SP. Why is this even coming up? You are all probably safe until next year.

 

SP in diabetes are on the on deck circle for end of the year and into early next year.
