Virtually any person in the US would have been fired for insider trading.

    Great example on integrity.
    Not.

The bottom line is the guy hasn’t delivered on the $$ results after two years.
Add on he basically admitted to insider trading and he should be fired for one of those reasons let alone both.

I’m performing in the bottom 10% vs. my goal. Whenever our region gets together, I always sit next to my super-hot counterpart who has the big ta-tas. I love gawking at her. Sometimes I lose my temper at these meetings too.
A few months back my manager called me because I’d expensed a few rounds of golf, some items at the pro shop for the group and dinner/drinks with some hot dermatologists.

I think that’s pretty fair and legit. Right ?

Our CEO performs and behaves like that, right ? I’m mean it’s only fair.

If he can steal, gawk and under-deliver , we can do the same, right ? I love this place.

This is bullshit to the max. At SUN you would be fired on the spot for expensing golf, drinks, or any other out of office "entertainment" expense. Keep your fantasies to yourself...in your own hands.

You missed the point. He/she was being sarcastic. Of course you should be fired for doing any of those things. What AG did was even worse. It does not matter if it isn't criminal in India. He still did it while working for Sun. This story will hit social media soon if he is not fired.

Not that Sun gets any respect from the FDA or the real pharma companies, but having someone like this viewed as the leader of your company only heightens and strengthens the bad reputation Sun has been rightfully building.

Correct, it was a sarcastic (fictional) situation to drive home the message that if Abhay can getting away with the gawking at female employees, behaving like a mad-man and trading stock on insider information, why can’t we do similar things.

Yup. It sure doesn’t help anything.
    No respect inside or outside.

If AG and his wife traded ~7000 shares,
People with from sun pharma, Ranbaxy and God knows who else, traded millions of shares 0-6 days before buyout. Nobody is Kosher here and also the reason AG was not fired. The BIL seems to be the driver of Sun pharma wealth

The dramatic increase in trading volume more than suggests people were trading with insider information.
Perhaps Abhay is “taking the bullet” for other execs/spouses st Sun.

The only positive is that he doesn’t have a presence with any customers. No one has asked me about it.
But I feel crappy about the company because there’s been no acknowledgement or communication.

5:1, if he’s in the office on Sunday, he’s cleaning out his desk.

His bonus was probably equal to the settlement amount and paid directly by those whose *ss he saved by not exposing them too.

The only acknowledgment has been an updated whistleblower policy.
