Is anyone else worried we’re NOT ITP indication? Wouldn’t we have heard rumblings of “good things” from the FDA if things were looking good? The fact that they’re being so tight lipped about it, makes me concerned.

I dont think that it matters if we get ITP - This company can screw anything up. I dont think Ive ever seen such a ridiculously incompetent support system.

So, you had me waste a year calling on non-hematology customers for an indication that no one cares about...and then tell me you want hem/onc relationships for the real indication? Makes perfect sense in Dova land.

Most of us have been calling on key Hem’s since launch! It’s total bs and makes zero sense. Like I’m going to sit around and watch the hem/onc newbs clean up selling in the ITP space, after most of us have struggled with CLD. It’s crap! But all is fare in their world. Outside of the reps for our competition, I don’t know who the hell they think they’ll convince to come to Dova after a disastrous launch in CLD. Would I leave a secure job in onc to come here? Only if I was secretly on a PIP and trying to leave before getting canned!

They're hiring 60 reps nationwide for the prep of the new indication. Start date mid June. They're offering 140-170k with 40k bonus.

If I didn't give 2 shits about being unemployed easily i would give it a shot. But i don't see this lasting long.

They are forcing their own sales force, including managers, to do formal interviews for their own jobs and they hired outside recruiters to search in their territories before they were even told. This company treats their people like expendable garbage and this is just the latest example. Huge numbers were laid off with an insulting 2 weeks of severance and their were no raises even for the ones who won PC.

I agree and I've never seen turnover like this in all my years in the industry between the firings, layoffs, and resignations at all levels. The worst part is they are doing absolutely nothing to stop this and this humiliating interview bs is the worst insult yet!

That is up there with one of the, if not THE MOST bizarre things I have heard about Dova

Are you reading any of the above? Who give a efff?!!!

Yes they give you stock options until they lay you off four months later, then they take them away.

Don’t do it. It’s a shitshow and management doesn’t have a clue. The owner investor is just looking to get rid of this dog. If it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably a shitshow!

Yes. Takes 3 years to vest. Think Dova will still be here then???

This has been the most unprofessional experience of my entire life. I wish I could erase all interactions with this organization...

If they are actually successful in hiring SOME folks with extensive hem/onc experience for ITP, those people will be bottom performers from other orgs, nobody in their right mind would even consider leaving a solid job to come to this shaky-ass start-up, that's changed their tune with the folks that performed and stayed. If those that do leave secure positions in hem/onc to come here that ARE "top performers" they're just doing it for a salary boost, and will be gone in a year to take more money elsewhere. They're dumb for thinking loyalty isn't enough. What a betrayal and what a disappointment! I can't believe they wouldnt turn first to their employees who HAVE been successful with selling THE WORST idea of a drug ever, and just cast them aside for "extensive hem/onc experience". You guys blow! Sorry but you know it's true...

Seriously!? Don't forget, strong candidates are out here who can perform regardless of how awesome or shitty a product is! And some of us happen to be extremely qualified, but victim to a recent M&A downsizing, and would love to be gainfully employed! Even if it wasn't a perfect scenario. Besides, what IS perfect in pharma these days anyway?!

Every single one of us on these toxic forums are "golden handcuffed" to this shit-show of an industry, because we all love the money. It's hard to leave when nobody will consider hiring you because of salaries/bonuses earned in the past. Unless your spouse makes bank, and you're willing to take a major pay-cut! Most of us do NOT have advanced degrees, and pharma sales is one of the only job sectors out there where you can make well beyond 6 figures without having earned an advanced degree. And last I checked, I'm no fucking engineer, and neither are most of you.

I'm probably speaking for myself, but being part of a 50% sales force reduction after a recent acquisition of the small company I was with, really sucks. Yes, I have a different perspective, but it's been difficult finding a solid opportunity that isn't contract! I'm in my 30's, interview extremely well, have great experience/recommendations and have been a top performer everywhere I've been. But the fact that I didn't get retained, puts me at a slight disadvantage, regardless of how I spin it...I just know it! I wouldn't wish this upon anyone right now because there's absolutely NOTHING out there.

For you current CLD reps who are sore about DOVA requiring you to interview for the ITP sales force, sell yourself well enough to be hired for the ITP sales force! They hired you the first time, and you didn't get shit-canned when they got rid of people, so why wouldn't they give you a chance? There are a ton of vacancies so they absolutely need to make it alluring to outside candidates! Also, you were loyal and didn't leave during times of major uncertainty, so those are all things going for you, especially if many of you HAVE been making headway in Hematology!

If you're considering coming to Dova, and are offered the position, take it and work hard. That's what I plan on doing if I'm fortunate enough to get the job! If it isn't what's expected, or not a fit, I'll leave for a better opportunity! We all know that it's easier transitioning to a new job while employed vs. unemployed...living proof, here! So if you hate it so much, stop complaining, and get another job while you still have one. You'll open your position up for someone who actually wants to work hard, and cares about putting their name behind something.

Dude, get a life and a clue. Pharma is dying. Its for losers. You’ll out on the streets in a few years. You’ve been warned.

thats a bit harsh I agree this field is slowly dying but there will always be some need albeit with fewer people. It’s still a decent gig overall in pharma but there is zero doubt that the glory days are gone forever
